“Porterhouse Clothing & Supply fills a void in Eugene shopping scene. I went there yesterday for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the quantity and quality of cool shirts, jackets and pants, among other things. Although I live in Eugene, for years I've done most of my shopping for clothes in Portland. Now that I've discovered Porterhouse, I will be a regular there. In addition to the impressive array of clothes, the place has a nice vibe. The owner, Ethan, was extremely helpful. I'm encouraging all my friends to check it out.”

However, I was disappointed by the limited plus-size options available in-store, which required me to make an online purchase. Considering my familiarity with their online offerings, I anticipated that the in-store selection would reflect a similar size range, especially given the store's location in a large city compared to my rural area. In my assessment, I would rate this experience 4 out of 5 due to the exceptional courtesy exhibited by the cashier, particularly when contrasted with her coworkers who were engaged in conversation and phone use.”
“I happened to be in town for a conference and wanted to grab some cool Ducks gear. The Nike apparel is definitely on the expensive side, but the Champion and other branded clothes are much more affordable and still look great.
The staff were super friendly and answered all of my questions, and I had a lot of them. The store is also right next to the football stadium, which is pretty cool.
If you’re looking for Ducks gear, this is a must stop.”
“My son turns 13 next week and wanted to build his first custom skateboard for his birthday. We stopped by Zumiez and had an incredible experience from start to finish.
As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly team that made us feel welcome. The gentleman who helped my son build his board was patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of his questions. He made the whole process fun and exciting.
I also want to give a special shoutout to Audrey, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. Honestly, every employee we interacted with was so sweet and helpful. It’s rare to walk into a store and feel like the entire staff genuinely enjoys helping people.
What started as a shopping trip turned into a memory my son will never forget. Great customer service, great selection, and an overall fantastic experience. We will absolutely be back. Thank you for helping make my son’s birthday so special!”

“I recently placed several online orders during their big sales and as expected, a lot of items didn't end up fitting. I was honestly pretty embarrassed to bring in such a massive pile of returns especially since the store was busy. However, the employee who helped me was incredible. She was extremely polite, helpful, and handled the entire transaction with a genuine smile. She made me feel completely comfortable and didn't make a big deal out of it at all. “I love this store! Always have my size, cool van's I haven't seen yet, usually have sales of some kind going on, and the managers are always on top of there store as well as very knowledgeable. I usually try to buy at least 2 pairs of shoes when I go. If you like vans, then you should probably check it out. And the prices aren't that far away from online.”
“I don't typically buy any merch from the Duck store, unless it's on deep discount because prices here are off the charts! I do enjoy the coffee shop in the corner of the store and get mochas here, they serve better drinks than most of the coffee shops around, so I visit often before work and do enjoy window shopping the cool Duck gear. Occasionally I'll buy some art supply items downstairs, they have a great selection of pencils and pens as well as notebooks. Not as cheap as shopping at Target or Walmart, but better selection of quality. It's the Duck Store, I'm a Duck, you should be a Duck too! :)”

“I don't really shop very often - these ladies were very attentive and polite. I had the most help I've had compared to many stores. Good selection for adults and kids. Prices are a good discount compared to their normal line.”
“I ordered two pairs of jeans online but they were the wrong size. So I decided to go into the store to see if they had them in stock there. Unfortunately they didn't, but the employee who helped me, named Em, was so incredibly helpful! The caliber of customer service she gave made me feel like was in a very high-end store with a personal shopper! She asked if I wanted her to do the exchange online for me, or find something in the store. I was tempted to try to find something in store for instant gratification, and she asked me all the questions needed to find what I was looking for. She hit it spot on, but I decided to still stick with the originals and she seamlessly reordered them for me and even asked about the length because I had previously been thinking I might like the short length instead.

Customer service was great, outfits were to die for, and may I say my absolute favorite thing was the conversation, they kept on flowing. I loved talking with them, they made me feel so cared for so comfortable and honestly, l would go again. “Veronica was a wonderful cashier/associate!!! Kindness can go a long way (in just about every situation) and really matters. She was super nice and helped me with a confusing return/purchase. I have had really bad experiences at Valley River Center AE store in the past. AE needs more Veronica's or have her train other AE employees. She made me decide to return to the store after i was considering not coming back because of a prior bad experience at this store.”
