“I went here about a month ago to get some batting practice in after 8 years of no baseball. Can't say I was any good, but the facility was definitely amazing. Staff there was kind and helpful. And the prices were affordable, including some of the gear that they sold had some pretty low prices. If you're into batting then this is definitely a fun place to take your kids or yourself. Hit some dingers!”

“I happened to be in town for a conference and wanted to grab some cool Ducks gear. The Nike apparel is definitely on the expensive side, but the Champion and other branded clothes are much more affordable and still look great.
The staff were super friendly and answered all of my questions, and I had a lot of them. The store is also right next to the football stadium, which is pretty cool.
If you’re looking for Ducks gear, this is a must stop.”

They have lots of swimsuits in a variety of styles, patterns and sizes, I also saw a very good selection of sports bras and other athletic wear. The employees were super kind and helpful! Pulling extra sizes for me when I needed them, helping me find styles that fit and showing me all of the pattern and color options. If you're struggling to find a swimsuit, I recommend stopping by and seeing if they can help you.”

“Line in our fishing rod wasn’t working well. I took it to Mazama sporting goods. Joshua who replaced the line was very knowledgeable, kind and very patient. He spent more than 30 minutes to remove and install the new line. In addition to line, I bought two spinning hooks. At the end, I only paid for what we bought and the worker did not charge for all the times he spent to replace the line. I highly recommend this place to everyone.”

“I don't typically buy any merch from the Duck store, unless it's on deep discount because prices here are off the charts! I do enjoy the coffee shop in the corner of the store and get mochas here, they serve better drinks than most of the coffee shops around, so I visit often before work and do enjoy window shopping the cool Duck gear. Occasionally I'll buy some art supply items downstairs, they have a great selection of pencils and pens as well as notebooks. Not as cheap as shopping at Target or Walmart, but better selection of quality. It's the Duck Store, I'm a Duck, you should be a Duck too! :)”

Huge shoutout to the REI team in Eugene for going above and beyond! After my Thule roof rack keys were stolen, Luca and Katie teamed up to help me out—trying what looked like hundreds of keys to find one that worked with my locks. I left them to the challenge while I shopped, and to my amazement, they cracked the code!
Not only did they find a working key, but they also removed the old locks and installed new ones—all with great attitudes and no sign of frustration, despite how long it took. They made me feel like helping me was a priority, not a hassle.
I also want to thank the manager in the bike department who played a big role in all of this—I’m just bummed I didn’t get his name.

“Selection is pretty good, but not a lot of sizes. Also I I don’t understand why I have to give my email address in order to get a receipt.The shoes ended up being too small for my son and I had to go back to exchange them. Since I didn’t have my receipt the salesman said he would have to give me the lowest sale price which was $49.99. I paid $100 for them. He ended up looking up my transaction and credited my card, but it was quite the process. If customers had the option to get a paper receipt, it would have made the experience better.I called corporate and was not understood. I had to discontinue the call because we were just going in circles and not getting anywhere.”

“Yesterday, we took a break from the NCAA Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field and walked to one of the local running shoe stores…Run Hub. Small business, family owned.
We met the owner, Dustin Pearce, and told him we were in town for all things track and field. He welcomed us and then asked where we were from, and of course that led to us telling him we work at The Runner. As we stood there talking shoes and more, it was like we were longtime customers. Yep, that’s small business. Thanks for making us feel at home!
