“This is my FAVORITE thrift store!!! I can shop for hours and still find more to look at! And the staff are great! I love seeing and talking with Elaine and Phil! They’re always so welcoming and helpful!
***A pro tip for anyone wanting to get clothes with there being no fitting rooms- Wear leggings and a tank top or other snuggly fit clothing. This way you can try things on over your clothes! There are even mirrors to see how you look!”

“Amazing place to shop. Staff are so kind, the prices you can't beat anywhere in pdx. I'm a single mother of two boys and I came in one day and didn't have enough money and the guy gave me a giant discount and said it's a hard job I'm doing and everyone deserves a break.”

“This place is so cool and unique not just with the things you can find there at great prices which really you never know what you'll find every time you go there but also how they will purchase items from people for cash or store credit it's great more stores should do what this place does”

“One of last great used tool shops. Been a regular place for me to shop my whole adult life. Sad to hear Ted passed and the property has been listed for sale. Still a great shop to check out and support before it's gone.”

“Feel like you’ve stepped back in time. The nostalgia is consuming. Suddenly you have an overwhelming desire to retrofit your entire home-Wait, actually move into a new home which is reminiscent of The Brady Bunch-or possibly a cool apartment like in Mary Tyler Moore and go all out with new-old-decor. It’s that good. Go, enjoy the experience-and remember to chat with the staff, they are an incredibly friendly bunch.”

“This is an excellent thrift store! The atmosphere and item curation are boutique-y, while the prices are very reasonable. When I was browsing it seemed like a majority of items are in the $10-20 range. It's also a wonderful nonprofit. I'll definitely be coming back!”

“I’m in Portland visiting and I came across this thrift store. They carry mostly clothing and a few kitchen and household items. I was able to pick up some decorative items and a hand made coffee mug and a pottery. Will come back again.?”

“The Salvation Army in Gresham is a special place. From groups for women, activities for youth, a weekly dinner, and compassionate services for those in need in their community, they are truly making a difference. It's a great place to volunteer and get connected!”

“Great spot to recycle old electronics safely + efficiently. Not a brick and mortar store anymore, which is disappointing, but glad they are keeping employees away from COVID, which is still rampant. Hope what we donate can be used to help someone in need. Cheers ??PS: a Community Center with Digital Navigators to help people use internet services?? Amazing!!! Ok now I want to volunteer”

“Best Little Thrift Store ...all volunteers operate the store with a smile. All items are donated and in great condition...from new to vintage and the BEST part is the proceeds help people who struggle with addiction.”

“What I love about Buffalo Exchange is the concentration of cool vintage and unique pieces. Unlike traditional thrift shops where you might have to sift through racks of less appealing items, Buffalo Exchange presents a higher chance of finding hidden gems without the tedious search.

While the prices may be higher than your average thrift store, you're paying for the curated collection and the ease of finding stylish and sometimes one-of-a-kind clothing. I’ve found some great pieces here that have become staples in my wardrobe.

If you’re looking for a fun shopping experience and enjoy discovering unique finds, I highly recommend checking out Buffalo Exchange. It’s a great spot to explore and find some neat additions to your closet.”

“Neat store, huge selection, friendly knowledgeable staff. It's too bad about it's location though. Lots of tents, smell of pee, crazy man in middle of street yelling. I work downtown so I'm a bit desensitized to it but I could only imagine what some may think.”

“An amazing place to both shop & donate items! Proceeds from this shop go directly back to supporting our local Canby community, funding programs like the annual Food & Toy Drive during the holiday season. We are very lucky to have this store — please spread the word & keep supporting!”

“Honestly this place has some of the most helpful people you can ask anything and they will either have it in store or they will look it up and help you find the closest place to help you if I ever come across something and I can't even find anything on Google about it I bring it into them and boom they help with in 10 min and sometimes it only takes that long cause they where already helping a customer who was ahead of you their service it a 10 out of 5 super good and funny guys oh and they have awesome stickers up front for 25 cents each or 5 for a dollar so worth it and the stickers are amazing”

“So it was a clean very nicely decorated vignettes. Full but organized shelves, but it was really expensive. Nice people but my cashier was not thrilled with my $100 bill. I apologized but I kinda thought I would have spent more there as normally at others I do. No line behind me, instead of lecturing me about how I could use other payments he could have had manager there a bit faster, he also jeot trying to sell me a paper bag for 4 things. Did he have a quota? Overall It was a nice store.”

“The Goodwill on 52nd is the closest to my home so I shop and donate there frequently. It is smaller than other stores in the area, but generally has a nice selection - I rarely leave empty handed.

Recently I accidentally donated a bag of clothing that had a shawl and throw-blanket I meant to keep. Fortunately, I dropped off the bag on Sunday and realized my mistake before they opened Monday. Tammy, a manager was very helpful. She asked me for detailed descriptions then had employees who sort the clothing look through the bin and find the items for me. They found the items right away and set them aside for me to pick up during my lunch. I really appreciate that Tammy returned my call right when the store opened and that she called me right away when they found the items I mistakenly donated.

I will definitely continue shopping and donating at this location.”

“I’ve been shopping at this goodwill for about 2 years and never had a bad experience. All the staff is helpful and kind. It’s ran by a guy named Curtis and he’s super friendly and helpful. In my opinion it’s perfectly ran and just wanted to let other shoppers know this store is amazing!”

“Found a really good amp fory kid that when plugged in makes sounds and powers on, looked it up and new around 80$ and got it for 25$. Will be testing it soon but always fun to look around even if you don't find anything you want”

“By far the best Goodwill I have ever shopped. Clean, bright, wonderful selection and the employees are knowledgeable and super friendly. Note, this is a flag ship store. Designer items, the creme de la creme is brought to this particular store so for what your getting the prices are great.”

“Only Oregon location I'll sell to. Strongly encourage people to call before they go in & ask what they are and aren't buying. Seasonal is one thing, inventory is another - last time I went they mentioned they specifically needed denim so I'm going back today with a bunch of jeans.”

“Stopped by here on my way back to the airport from mount hood for a quick thrift, the staff and selection were both amazing! Very kind and attentive, I couldn’t recommend this location enough ?”

“Everyone’s perspective is different what one may think is trash another may think it’s treasure. It saddens me the amount of bad reviews this thrift store has. Give the man a break who works or owns this thrift store. He has a shop in Portland where people steal on the daily and disrespect his wishes in order to keep the place running. I went in and found many great pieces of clothing. I found my fav. New/ old pair of pants for $2.50. Not even goodwill can beat that. Give this place a chance and be respectful of his wishes. I’m definitely a returning customer.”

“I was shocked and disgusted at the ridiculous prices at a good will. It doesnt matter what brand or what item, it's clothing and half broken old electronics from the brick or Matt, which is the line of items dumped off at good will not washed or cleaned. They don't even check to see if there stuff works. $70 for a well worn Tommy Bahama shirt you can get brand new everywhere. Rude to the extreme as I was followed around like some theif waiting to take something. Stains on jackets selling at the price of a new one. I know because I worked at and researched the whole industry. The discrimination I was subjected to was absolutely Not OK nor legal. All simply because of my face that I was born with. I was and am appalled at the behavior in a store that sells thrown away clothes period. I would never tell anyone to deal with that kind of treatment.”
