“This thrift store has a wide selection of clothing. And it is worth shopping their book section. I have always received excellent service here. They could keep the store a little cleaner, but other than that, it is a good place to shop for bargains. However, household items are priced too high.”

“This is the best resale/donation center store I've ever shopped in the Portland area! Great prices and selection of items, especially in the furniture selection!”

“What a cute place! Came here right after we had sushi across the street and we've been looking for an over head light and found so many cute options. Unfortunately because we were out of state they didn't ship to MN and it was just trickier to think of all the logic this with shipping given we were leaving back really soon. Staff were very welcoming and the space honestly would be so cool to do a photo shoot in. It's super fun and they have very unique pieces that would make any home stand out.”

“This is an excellent thrift store! The atmosphere and item curation are boutique-y, while the prices are very reasonable. When I was browsing it seemed like a majority of items are in the $10-20 range. It's also a wonderful nonprofit. I'll definitely be coming back!”

“What a great selection of things that I didn’t think I still needed.... the guys are there Great, and they work with you and they are some nicest people around and I’ll continue to do business with him as long I’m in in the area”

“Beautiful shop with amazing people who were happy to help us find our long-sought antique standing ashtray. Well, two ashtrays actually... since we couldn't choose between them ?”

“I went on Saturday, and although it was busy (parking lot was full) it didn't feel busy inside. They have a large selection of nice quality items and a very good price. They don't have sales, so the price is the price, but I got a brand new with tags on tankini top for only $8. I'll make the longer drive out here again.”

“They are always really kind to my kiddos and helpful. Good selection for clothes, toys, etc and excellent prices. Most recently they were sweet enough to sell me a toy from their play area that my 3-yo couldn’t live without.”

“The Salvation Army in Gresham is a special place. From groups for women, activities for youth, a weekly dinner, and compassionate services for those in need in their community, they are truly making a difference. It's a great place to volunteer and get connected!”

“A bit overpriced for a thrift store on some things, but then good prices on other things. Large store and plenty of inventory to explore. Very friendly and helpful staff.”

“I love this laid back thrift store. They have a great selection of books and all kinds of cool items. Everything is clean and In good shape, and there is always something new. No frills and good finds. Prices are actually reasonable and the staff is super friendly and inviting. I highly recommend you check it out!”

“Best Little Thrift Store ...all volunteers operate the store with a smile. All items are donated and in great condition...from new to vintage and the BEST part is the proceeds help people who struggle with addiction.”

“I’ve been shopping at this goodwill for about 2 years and never had a bad experience. All the staff is helpful and kind. It’s ran by a guy named Curtis and he’s super friendly and helpful. In my opinion it’s perfectly ran and just wanted to let other shoppers know this store is amazing!”

“Update 11/26/23: the store seems to have stopped this policy, so I’m updating my review.Employees at the store mark almost every sewn-in clothing tag, and the bottoms of bigger products, with letters in permanent marker. They say this is to indicate the price of items in Roman numerals so people can’t switch out tags. However, this greatly reduces the likelihood a product will continue in the circular economy. This isn’t an eco-friendly decision at all and actually could be reducing sales since people won’t easily be able to re-gift or re-sale items once done with them. Items look of lower quality with this practice and I could see this deter if people from wanting to use them. This needs rethought, as so much of what’s donated to goodwill already doesn’t get bought.”

“Great place that is a service to the community--both those who have good, used building materials, tools, appliances, bath fixtures, and furniture to donate, and those who can use them.”

“The three things I look for in a sneaker shop are: Inventory, Fair Pricing, and Friendly Staff. INDEX has all that in spades. I had been looking for a specific pair(which they had multiples of) and was able to trade in some existing sneakers in my collection at a fair market price to knock down some of the price. All of this was supported by a staff that was passionate, knowledgeable, and a joy to work with during the transaction. I will definitely go back to Index for future considerations and purchases of grails, general releases, and everything in between.”

“Very responsive and customer oriented team. Saved me from making some costly errors on the fix it / buy a new one laptop trail. Low key and knowledgeable. I am a computer moron and they were able to help me without making me feel as tech illiterate as I really am.”

“Alot of great clothes. There was one shirt in particular that I horribly wanted but because it was new, it was just a few dollars too expensive. Found a beautiful pair of pants but sadly didn't fit right. Overall a great place but I wish the new stuff was just a few dollars cheaper.”

“I enjoy shopping at this location, even though it isn’t a superstore I usually find treasures. The staff have all been kind and the store is clean and organized. The fitting rooms are permanently closed here but they allow you to try on clothes over your clothes in the hallway. I usually wear leggings and a small t-shirt so I can more easily try on clothes on top of them.”

“I came into the store not knowing what I needed. I had a cheap soundbar at home and wanted to upgrade to a surround sound system. My only requirement was the system had to be affordable. Not only did they exceed my expectations, but they were knowledgeable, and the system came in way under the budget I had in mind. I’m thrilled with my purchase. Thank you. I’ll be back.”

“It's the best Goodwill that I've been to so far! I love it and they had so much amazing stuff, I wish I had the financial means to buy everything I found in there.”

“Friendly people, clean and organized displays. We have saved a lot of $ going to Goodwill. Bonus: job provider, keeps stuff out of the landfill - conservatism I can get behind.”

“Only Oregon location I'll sell to. Strongly encourage people to call before they go in & ask what they are and aren't buying. Seasonal is one thing, inventory is another - last time I went they mentioned they specifically needed denim so I'm going back today with a bunch of jeans.”

“I absolutely LOVE this store! A great place to find high quality vintage and gently used clothing. It’s a much smaller store, not a normal goodwill location, but the clothing is curated and thus nicer (and more expensive). Staff are always super friendly and knowledgeable about clothing generally. Shopping here is my favorite way to spend a lunch break :)”

“Best Goodwill on the Planet! Great employees, GREAT merchandise! The book section is amazing! And so organized. Seriously, how do you guys get all the good stuff?? We love Goodwill, and we love this one the best! See you tomorrow!”

“Loved how cleaned the store was. Value of items are too high but since it's a boutique, I guess it's reasonable. Not very much selection nice high end items.”

“Like most other goodwills except they have a slight problem with theft here. Other than that you can find quite a bit of stuff packed into this location compared to some others.”

“Everyone’s perspective is different what one may think is trash another may think it’s treasure. It saddens me the amount of bad reviews this thrift store has. Give the man a break who works or owns this thrift store. He has a shop in Portland where people steal on the daily and disrespect his wishes in order to keep the place running. I went in and found many great pieces of clothing. I found my fav. New/ old pair of pants for $2.50. Not even goodwill can beat that. Give this place a chance and be respectful of his wishes. I’m definitely a returning customer.”
