“We only went to the Spa. It was dreamy. Beautiful mid century modern facility with a great view of Siletz Bay. The number of guests is limited to a small number, so the hot tub, sauna, and quiet lounge are never crowded. Our 90 minute massages were absolutely wonderful and relaxing.”

“Really a super nice batik cottage style motel. Rooms and property were immaculate and bed was super confortable. Manager is super nice. She even allowed us to overnight our fish in her personal freezer when all units with full size frigs were already booked. When in the are from now on you will find us here.”

“We stayed in room 7. I love their keyless entry, absolutely clean room (most important thing to me), comfy bed, beautiful ocean view, and a unique private beach access. We were across the street from a convenient store as well, which is always a plus. I would definitely come back!”

“What a gem of a hotel! Marvelous view, great staff, easy beach access and inexpensive beer in the lobby. Plus homemade cookies in the evening, and a guy that looks like Aquaman works there! My favorite hotel in Oregon!”

“Clean, quiet, and great views! Being off the main road means you only hear the ocean, which is what I wanted. The hotel and amenities are simple but everything is well-maintained. Definitely better for adults than families, and if you can manage the walk up, the third floor rooms really pay off with the view and the quiet. I'd absolutely book here again.”

“I absolutely love staying here! It's clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. It's perfectly located for us to do everything we want and our little dogs are welcome and happy. Also, the owners and staff are amazing.”

“Great hotel near heart of Depoe Bay's main strip - only a 2-minute drive or 10-minute walk along road. Loved the modern and clean aesthetic of the hotel and the rooms. Everything was very clean. Nice balcony overlooking the harbor and an electric fireplace that put out a ton of heat. There was also a fridge in the room - no microwave. TV is all streaming, but loads of free streaming channels offered. Hotel was very quiet during our stay (no kids allowed). Checked in and out online, which was easy enough. Note that here looks to be a flight of stairs to access all the rooms with no elevator. Downstairs lobby has lots of seating with nice deck with chairs and tables to enjoy fresh air. Free coffee, tea, and water 24 hours in lobby station. Beautiful hikes in vicinity at Cascade Head - if clear weather, but the town is really about whale watching. And of course, all of Oregon's beaches are gorgeous.”

“Walkability: It's only a couple blocks away from the depoe bay shops so easily walkable from your room also room #1 has a view of the ocean from the kitchen window!! I love this place and the owner is always a joy to communicate with and has always been very nice!!”

“The room was a little weird, sink not in the bathroom etc. But that was standard back in the day I suppose. The room had a smell like thy were covering up pets or smoke? But it wasn't too bad. We loved the service and location! Very nice people running it here.”

“Darling little motel. Wasn't sure what to expect, but this place was perfect (even ,y 19 yo loved it). Nancy at the front desk was so kind when I realized (at 7pm) that my need was actually for the next night. She moved my room to the following night without any problems. The room is comfortable, feeling like home. Linens were much nicer than the white sets you get in big hotels. The bathroom was large. The room was so clean and modern. Such a great value for the price. What a special hidden gem!”

“Lovely place, great staff, and great view. The rooms are a bit small, but they are nice and great if you plan to spend most of your time outside anyways. Also has a pool and hot tub and beach access. Also aparantly some rooms are pet friendly, which is not stated on their website, you have to call and ask.Rooms: Liked that it was a suit type and had privacy for our room/bedNearby activities: Newport, depot bay and Lincoln city are all nearby. So much to do in all of these”

“This was a great place to stay in Lincoln City. I always have a hard time picking a place/hotel without visiting. I am glad to have found this place. There is a great place to walk the dog, right across from D River Beach, has a pool/jacuzzi, breakfast, and all for a reasonable price.”

“What an awesome hotel. We had a 1 bedroom suite with a patio. On the patio were 2 Adirondack chairs and a small table for taking in the brisk ocean air or watching the sunset with a glass of wine or beer. A stairway takes you down to the beach. This hotel fills up quick so reserve early in the year. You won't regret it. We will definitely stay here again.”

“I booked a trip for July 1-3 on the OYO site. I cancelled my reservation June 19th for a July 1 reservation. I was within the full cancellation window and received an email stating I would receive a refund of $408.. It is July 3 and I haven't received the refund.. I reached out by email and was told they would get back to me. No response. I reached out by phone and was told they would respond soon. No response. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated.

I have stayed at this hotel before and been happy, but this experience has been so frustrating I don't feel I can continue to recommend this hotel.

Follow up: It's 7/10/25. I have contacted OYO Booking multiple times and been told my refund request has been escalated and someone will reach out to me. I have done this both by phone and email. Not once have I been contacted again by OYO Booking and I still haven't received a refund. Brandon Reed the General Manager at Siletz Bay Lodge reached out to me personally and stated he contacted OYO Booking and the refund was in process and would be to me shortly. I really appreciate his effort.l, but that's the same thing OYO Booking has said for weeks now

Again, I have enjoyed my stays here in the past, so if you do want to book a stay here, I highly recommend you do not use OYO Booking. I've had good luck with Expedia. I will never use OYO Booking again.

Edited 7/22/25. I finally received a refund after disputing it with my credit card. I have increased my rating of the property based on my experience in the past, but I would strongly discourage anyone from booking directly with the OYO corporation.”

“Love the ocean front rooms! Affordable, good location, nice people. Recently updated so not as run down as some competitors, but starting to see wear and tear in the bathrooms (water marks on trim; peeling paint) and then the balconies could use some clean up bc of seagulls. The king size suite needs drapery to block the light through the blinds.”

“The plumbing and electrical are all modernized. The hallway needs a little freshening. Great coffee setup in the mornings. It's a minute walk to the beach and plenty of good restaurants nearby.”

“Beautiful view of the ocean from room and our balcony . Right off the ocean. Got to take long flight of stairs down to the beach below. Can tell it's old resort . Our room had a jacuzzi tub. Beds were clean and comfortable. They have wifi and flat screens but oddly no phones in the room. Towels are really small. Quiet peaceful we were there when we got our tsunami warning.
Rooms have DVD player, fridge, microwave, pod coffee pot. Pool was old but clean and warm and indoors had its own building showers was broken in the woman's bathroom of the pool. Sauna in the same building as pool. They no longer have a play ground, restraunt, game room, or weight room however. The washer and dryer on site were down. Ice machine worked though.parking was first come first serve.”
