“WOW, this would actually be my second time coming to trans medic Transmissions. The first time was for my 2006 Ford f150. That was around 2018-19. I was super satisfied then, it's why I returned years later for my GMC Acadia which was a really hard time for me. The people here are extremely kind, I must of called them to get answers 4-8 times and they were there for me to answer all my questions until the job was finished. Ummm... they stand by their work and I feel comfortable driving my vehicle now. I will only go to Trans Medic because I've established a relationship with them. They replaced a battery in my car which really they didn't have to do that. So I Definitely recommend them. My f150 doesn't even run anymore, but the Transmission worked all the way until the end. “Every so often you find a business that exceeds your expectations. That was my experience this week at Cookes brake service on Southeast Belmont and 46th. Our 2001 Ford F-150 pickup was making disturbing metal on metal sounds from the front brakes. I rang the company and Dan said bring it on in. I had to ask now on a Friday you have an opening! That was what a great business impression number one. Dan informed me would be about an hour for them to troubleshoot the problem. 30 minutes later Dan rang with the diagnosis front pads worn to the warning bars thus the grinding tone. And the discs had already been turned once and if they turned them again would go below spec. Price to repack the bearings, bleed and recharge the brake fluid, New discs new pads was a reasonable cost and it would be done by 2:30 a few hours later. Pat rang at 2:30, work completed! I encourage you to give Cookes a try Great service great and honest assessment at a competitive price.”
“My experience with WCO has been five star from start to finish! Exceptional communication. Wonderful customer service. First rate work. These folks love Range Rovers. They understand why we love them even when we know we shouldn't and they are AT LEAST 30% cheaper than the dealer, but with the same level of trust that they will do the job right! A job that was quotes at JRL at 14K ended up costing me 3k. Yeah. Not a typo. 12k/3k. You owe it to yourself and your rig to get a bid!”

“A friend of mine broke down on the freeway in their diesel pusher Motorhome. We called S&T, they explained how to limp it into the shop and save a big tow bill. When we got there they immediately started diagnosing and locating parts. This was at 3:00 in the afternoon. One part was not available in the area so they next day aired it in. By noon the next day they were back on the road. Based on previous repairs at other shops and it being an a breakdown they expected a pretty substantial bill. The final bill was half of what they expected. Everyone in this shop went over and above getting these people back on the road and did not take advantage of them being broke down out of town. We whole heartedly trust and recommend S&T Truck Repair for your maintenance and repairs. We wish we could rate higher than 5 stars”

Absolutely outstanding work from this shop and Russell and his team! Took my new Denali in to get looked at. While I was there, he added a performance muffler - I’m very particular about sound so he spent time showing me different mufflers and how they sounded before putting it on. He was patient, kind and his prices were great!

“Been taking my dusty crusty 1989 Toyota Camry here for 5+ years. Great prices, great turn around, great (honest) customer service. Almost all my repairs I’ve found to be anywhere from 10%-50% cheaper, almost none of them took more than a day, and he’ll tell you if something NEEDS to be fixed now or not and try and work with you. Also, if you like supporting local business, this is the place for you. You’ll definitely get the bang for your buck.”

“I have a 1945 Chevy school bus that been restored and updated with 1 gen Cummins diesel and 2nd gen Dodge transmission. The company that installed it was never able to get the transmission quite right. After searching for a company that would be willing to undertake my conversion , Chavez Transmission, was willing to look at it. Many shops won’t touch the bus because it is a retrofit.
I was having issues with shift linkage! I was only able to shift into drive and not down to 2nd or 1st. He got it fixed so had all my gears! Also my shift indicator is an aftermarket indicator and didn’t read right. He moved and manufactured some brackets to make it work correctly. It took a couple of tries but he made it right and didn’t charge extra for his time. As for cost, he is extremely reasonable.
It’s hard to find shops committed to going that extra mile to solve the problems, especially when it’s a custom build. But Chavez Transmission is one of them. I can’t recommend a shop more highly qualified than Chavez Transmission. He knows his stuff and is a pleasure to work with. 5 stars!
