“Dollar General is a great store to have in a small town like Jefferson. It is super convenient for quick pickups, especially things like snacks, household items, or medicine when you do not want to drive out of town.
They carry a pretty wide range of everyday essentials for a store their size, which makes it easy to stop in and grab what you need. That said, it can be a bit inconsistent at times. Sometimes it is well stocked and easy to shop, and other times it feels a little picked over or disorganized. Prices can also be a little higher than expected on certain items.
Overall, it is a really useful place to have locally and works great in a pinch, just not always the best option for bigger shopping trips.”
“The best thing about the store is the locale. Jeffersonians don't have to drive all the way into Albany or Salem for convenient things. The produce availability is good. Sure it cost a little more but it equals out for the price you would use for gasoline especially for the way it is going over $5 a gallon.”

“The best biscuits and gravy! I know what you’re thinking… biscuits and gravy from a convenience store?! Don’t knock it till you try it! Staff are friendly, and it’s an easy store to get in and out of.”
