“Mini farmers market in the middle of a parking lot. Weird placement but cute. Decent selection of fresh fruit and veg, with some baked good options. Moderately priced.”

“Location is great, right off McVey and the parking lot is large enough to always be able to park but not so big you have to walk far to enter the store. Fresh but very costly produce and baked goods. Pretty limited frozen items selection. Nice wine selection! Great for some grab and go lunch if price is not a concern. They have a hot soup bar, hot and fresh pizza slices, a hot deli counter, a barista, and a bakery. There is a dining area indoors and out. The covered dining area outdoors has heaters mounted above the area but I've never seen them turned on. There is a Mudbay store in the same lot and also a pizza/pub with outdoor seating. Overall a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. We have gotten Thanksgiving dinner catered by this store for a few years and everything has always been great.”

“I have shopped here for many years now and I have always been impressed with the quality of the food and quality of the employees in the store. They have gone above and beyond multiple times to help me make a special purchase and even honored a sale price when I wanted to buy a case of something on sale, but only a few remained.Today, on Halloween, my teenager sent me on a wild pumpkin chase all across town trying to get him four last-minute pumpkins for a science club activity. New Seasons was the only store in town with pumpkins in stock. Aaron and Matthew saw my need and gave me an unbelievable deal on the pumpkins I desperately needed. I will not forget this huge solid New Seasons Market.”

“It's a gas station with all the usual suspects; candy, chips, snacks and soda but they do have a walk in freezer. The staff is friendly and timely. No complaints and I they're open late so I like to walk there and get munchies.”

“I'd say the store met expectations. They had what I was looking for. Plenty of convenient parking. The checker was very friendly, although I get the impression many of the customers here are not friendly. The store was reasonably clean. Plenty of shopping carts, and even the small ones like I like. I bought milk here, got it back to my hotel, and it was cold and fresh. All in all a good experience.”

“This Safeway is my go to place for groceries. I've been doing the drive up and go for a little while now. When I got home after picking up my most recent order I noticed 3 bags worth of items missing. I called the store and Alicia Curry the Director (or manager, I can't remember) answered the phone. The day way very hectic and busy for me, so I asked if I could have the store deliver the items for free the following morning. She said the store doesn't deliver, but that she would be happy to bring the groceries to me once she got off work. I said no and that I could get them in the morning, but she kept insisting that she wanted to bring them to me, so I said okay. She turned my negative experience into a positive one and I appreciate the effort she made for me.”

“The staff at Safeway has always been friendly and courteous, which is something we take for granted too often. I recall how anxious and cranky we customers got during the pandemic, and yet we could count on the continuity of the staff to calm us, like one thing we could count on. When one cashier we were used to seeing retired after the worst of the pandemic, I realized how important they were to my sanity back then, and marveled that more employees hadn't quit and left us after our sometimes taking our angst out on them. The service people at all the places we expect to find them: gas stations, post office, banks, restaurants -- they are true heroes. The store is in a convenient location, is always clean, and reasonably stocked with brands I know. I don't understand The low ratings here, except angry people are more motivated to give a review, I suppose.”

“A+ for fantastic customer service! I think the name of the gal who helped me is Brook. See item 4. 1) they do not price gauge flowers over the holidays, like the other big groceries do (doubling the cost at minimum) 2) they have great wines at a great price and are known for this. 3) they have their own amazing snacks. I love the cookies and cadies they put out around Christmas, but my waistline does not. lol 4) Brook. She was working in the flowers area and helped me pick out flowers for a friend who just lost the love of their life. When I shared the story, Brook did something so incredibly kind and sweet. I won't say because there are too many fakers out there that would try to take advantage of her kindness and the stores policy on kind gestures. But it meant a lot to me and a lot to my friend. I didn't used to go out of my way to find a Trader Joe's but I have been lately and will continue to give them my business, over the Big Box stores, if they have the same item I am looking for. I want my money going to TJ's first.”
