“I am not completely satisfied with my mail /package delivery but I know post office in West Linn is relatively good in contrast to other locations. Don’t dis-encourage hard working postman, be nice and help them do better. At least, all employees here in West Linn location are super nice and friendly, eager to help.”

“This is a governmental agency who’s been chronically underfunded and understaffed. You are supposed to expect delays and slow delivery times. That said, I have never had a bad experience in this location. All employees are efficient and pleasant. You can now do a very short survey by scanning the QR code on your receipt or the signs inside the building.”
“I was in from out of state to help clean out my mom’s home. Usually I’m very prepared with all I need to ship. Since it’s not my place, I was concerned about having everything ready to send. I told the gentleman working about this and he said, “No problem.” He quickly, quietly and easily got my package on its way. Friendly, helpful service! Thank you!”

“This is our 'home' USPS location, after the close down of the Slabtown location on NW 24th. Our first experience was a bit spotty, but in the last 6 months we have been delighted.
The counter staff has been unfailingly helpful, courteous and knowledgeable about any questions re: outbound mail or issues & options for our home delivery. When they have been unable to help directly they have provided contact details for the larger PO behind!

“I had a good experience today for my son's passport application. This facility can help you with photos and you can also buy money order for passport fee for $2.5 which is really nice. For walk-ins they accept 4 applications a day. We arrived at 8:10am and were the last one accepted. Others came a bit later and they had to go back. It would be really nice they if can have an automated way to tell people that passport walk-ins queue is full so they dont have to wait and figure out.
Other than that I noticed that they can only process 4 applicants per day on walk-ins so it's better if you get an appointment. They were not anyway lazy or wasting time. Scott was quite efficient. As efficient as a human can be.
Also, would be nice if they can have some sitting area for passport applicants since waiting in queue for more than 1 hour standing is really inconvenient.”
“Elaine was super helpful and went over and beyond to help me. I am new to eBay selling and she taught me about dimensions/weight shipping and how to be efficient. I almost lost money on my first sell, but she gave me some pointers and i was able to better pack my item and made some money!! I will forever drive across town to this post office as long as she is working there :) ELAINE IS THE BEST!!”

I’ve always had positive experiences at this USPS in the past too; today I actually drove 20 mins out of my way because of that.

“Considering it’s is a post office, which are all overworked, under resourced and highly utilized…this location is doing great at handling challenges with skill and customers with grace. I go a couple times a week to ship packages and have appreciated my experiences even when it’s busy. The staff are helpful and friendly I actually enjoy stopping in and seeing them. When you interact with workers (or leave reviews) try to maintain respect and empathy.”

“I was reading some of the other posts and I don't know who this Elizabeth is but if she is one of the ladies work in the counter I don't think that she is the same way that she used to be or maybe she doesn't work there anymore either way every time I've gone in I've got some Asian ladies at the front who are super nice to me very informative and really helpful every time I've gone in everything seems to be the way that it's supposed to be I've never had any problems and they go through the lines pretty quickly I've had my PO box there for 6 months now and I haven't had any issues they even held a package for me and put the information on a piece of paper on the package so that I could get it dealt with in a more efficient and better way I like this location”

“Have always had a typical post office experience here. Most of the slowness comes from other people/customers asking questions and not having everything ready...hence asking questions part. Staff have always been nice to me when I've needed assistance either for mailing or PO box stuff. Added pictures of hours of operation for stuff that doesn't require staff assistance, ie PO box hrs., ect.”
“I am a big fan of all the employees at the Milwaukie post office. I know they have the weekends off, so go then boo-hoo but they are always so reliable whenever I am there Monday through Friday they all rock and I respect each and everyone of them.”

“I visited this location for passport photos. Employee Clay did an excellent job for me. I noticed that they make yard signs for city council candidates too when the candidate dropped in. They also rent mailboxes, offer fingerprinting, along with other services. This is a well-run, family-owned, local business with strong neighborhood ties.”
“One of the better USPS in Portland tbh! I need to explore a few more but unlike the mall 205 and Gresham location this one is by far the best one! I enjoy the staff here always good service and never usually a long line or wait.”

“The click n ship option in the website was not accepting enterprise cards for over a week. I had 59 packages to mail for a fundraising I did for the Alzheimer’s Association. Because I couldn’t use my company card online, I had to go to the post office. I felt awful for one person to process them all, but Bryan did not rush me or made me feel like a pest. He patiently worked through all 59 packages (all with different addresses) in 20 minutes! He warn me that the printer could overwork itself and jam which would cause him to ask me to do the rest on the self service kiosk. Luckily, we made it through with a smile on our faces. I have never had a better experience at a post office!”
