Grocery Stores in Milwaukie, OR

“Bargains abound! I like to get cider here, though it’s not always less expensive than the grocery stores. I do feel better supporting Grocery Outlet over big stores like Fred Meyers. They usually have good gluten free and dairy free items as well as staples like eggs for really good prices. Staff is always very nice as well but I can tell they’re a little spread thin over the past few years.”

“This place has really good kratom, I forget what the brand is called however I believe it's the only one they have. It's a little on the pricey side although it's very potent so you don't need much, employees were adequate in customer service.”

“The man who works here is a really good man. he has a very good memory and remembers his regular customers. Makes you feel welcome in his store. I like that feeling.”

“This place has always provided quick and friendly service. After living near by for years, they provide the sense of being home or like a long time no see feeling. Mind you, it didn’t take long for that feeling to set affect after we first moved in and with infrequent stops. They’ve definitely been a lifesaver for forgotten things to pick up at the store, days with cravings, running out of beer sooner than expected, and then some. If you’re wondering why so much praise and 4 stars, here’s my “but”.. But, be cautious of their milk (if you need it). Be sure to check the date. It’s easily a 5 star rating when Kim is working though! Coolest cat working there.”

“Safeway in general is a good store. Clean and usually well stocked. Most employees are helpful and considerate. The pricing can be a bit high though compared to other stores like Fred Meyer, Walmart or Winco.”

“During a bike ride my rear tire went flat, so I asked the store if they had any CO2 cartridges as I had just used my last one, but I needed the kind with threads on, no joy, but close. While waiting for my Lyft rescue ride, I met another cyclist who had a pump, which saved my ride.”

“High quality and nice selection of local products. Store was very clean and uncrowded around 11 am day before Thanksgiving. Staff very friendly and parking lot ample. Gourmet products too. It's pricier than Safeway but I think it has excellent goods.”

“Great selection, good prices. Great workers, professional, and very knowledgeable. Especially crystal, who is very great and funny and customer oriented. Check it out in Milwaukee on McLoughlin street. Thank you.”

“Great place to find asian ingredients, especially Thai or Vietnamese. They have amazing selection of Thai snacks im not gonna lie. I even found Maggi soysauce, fermented fish sauce (mắm cá sặc, mắm cá lóc), ferrmented soybean which I usually have to go all the way to Dorchester. If you all the way the end of the first aisle, they have good instant coffee sackets too. They have basic produce products (veggies, potato, onions, poultry, Thai fresh herbs,...). The shop owner is not very good at English but he's super friendly. If you need him to help finding anything just show him a picture. They have 10$ minimum for credit card but you can ask to add extra 0.25$ to swipe any purchase that under $10 of you dont have any cash in hand. Please support this small business I'm sad seeing their produce products gone bad because of slow customers visits.”

“I'm so excited to have somewhere close by to get Ethiopian food, I got a combo to take home and everything was delicious! It's a great little store with snacks, drinks, and some fresh produce, and the owner is super sweet. They also have smoothies which I will have to try next time.”

“I love the products like the 00 pizza flour, it's excellent! Just like the other great natural choices they have to choose from like artisan flour, or all purpose flour the quality, and freshness are top shelf .”

“7.15.2025...I checked in at 215a for my 3a appt. You may have to call the number shown at guardbooth to check in. The cool gentleman met me in the lot and took my bills. He gave me a door right away. However he advised not to break seal until he came out to advise. Once he comes out, you'll have to do a WALMART type of disconnect from trailer. He came out around 436a . I had bills im hand at 610a. There is limited parking on streetside or nearby truckstops.”
