“A convenient mini grocery store on the south side of the Bridge who's owners love beyond a shadow of a doubt the 1st amendment. After all without the first amendment they might not be allowed to print their slightly rebellious fear mongering right wing 2nd amendment propaganda t- shirts. God bless America... But I came to this store and I had trouble finding a couple things and the owner actually made sure that I left with everything that I came for and was very kind to me. “I love Oceana Natural Foods Co-Op, it's been a staple for organic fruits, veggies, cooking oils, bulk food items, and so much more since my childhood. If you're hungry for lunch, check out their hot food bar, they have several delicious selections of salads, casseroles, pizza, soups, scones, cookies, hot coffee and hot water for tea. It's a nice bridge when the Saturday Farmer's Market is closed for the season, from November through April. A welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff might just encourage you to become a member, where your voice matters.”
“Walmart here in Newport have some great selection of indoor/outdoor plants and flowers. I, for the first time ever, have took on the care and nourishment of 3 beautiful Annual Primrose flowers. Love them!!!”
“To me, this harkens back to the old days of grocery stores where you not only bought groceries, but could also buy clothing, hardware and kitchenware. All the first floor is dedicated to groceries, but there is a loft area with so much more.
Our interactions with everyone that worked there were great. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. However, like many things in Newport, it is expensive.”
“A great place for quick shopping, large shopping and even breakfast/lunch/dinner meals from the Deli! The employees are always hospitable and considerate of our needs as shoppers. I have personally worked with the owner/manager of the store, and he and his wife are a great role model for their employees, and it shows! A nice little spot in Newport right across from Shell gas station!”

“You can’t beat the service. I like to come here to buy items for Samoan and Hawaiian recipes. Just when you think they wouldn’t have it, they’ll surprise you. The Laulau is ono-licious. All sorts of Asian food.”
