Sometimes their fault, sometimes its the supplier. But overall...great place to go, recommend it way over the place in toledo that loves to close early and has way too many issues to even go into ( and I live closer to that one).

Next trip I'm getting the canister full! I also got her a couple of the fancy dog pastry cookies and she devoured them. Seriously, that's a lot cause she's the pickiest pup I've ever had. Lots of such great items inside the store. I'm going to measure her so I can get that scooby doo collar next time!!

728 NW Beach Dr, NewportThis has always been my go-to spot for chowder whenever I’m in the area — and it’s easy to see why. Their clam chowder is outstanding: rich, creamy, and packed with generous, tender clams instead of just potatoes.
I also have to RAVE about their golden fries. They recently changed the cut, and it’s brilliant — a perfect hybrid between thick, hearty fries and the delicate bite of a potato chip. They’re crisp, well-seasoned, and genuinely addicting.
The service here is another standout. Our waiter was attentive & friendly, making sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive.
The ambiance is always pleasant — clean, welcoming, and just the right kind of relaxed for a casual meal or a quick bite.
I can’t recommend this place highly enough — it’s worth a stop just for that phenomenal clam chowder!

I chose baba can-nosh ? (Eggplant) u also get pita bread, the food is SO TASTY! My husband got the chicken kabobs with salad he really enjoyed the chicken is cooked to perfection, not dried out! So delicious.
