“Best prices in Eugene for groceries. However, I generally don't get my produce here. I tend to buy fruits and vegetables that go bad quicker from another grocery store. It seems Winco gets produce that's slightly older than what's available in other stores.
But this only applies to some produce.
Their deli department also sells meats that need to be eaten within five days.
But the rest of the store is the best in town.
I bought sausage hot dogs at Winco for $1.99 that weren't on sale - this was their regular price. The exact same product was sold at Fred Meyers for $4.99. they were on sale at Freddy's for $3.99 and there was a $1 off coupon so it came down to $2.99. After all the discounts the Fred Meyers product still cost $1 more than it did at Winco.
Prior to this I had paid the full price of $4.99 at Freddy's before I discovered how affordable Winco is.”
“Our favorite store in Eugene. This store as almost all items larger stores have. (Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco) Always great to shop here. Parking can be full”

“Good store. wish they stayed open later. Prices are neck and neck with the other stores around here. The owner and people who work at the Dexter market are kind, human, and helpful. They have gone out of their way more than once to accommodate my obnoxious requests. I’ve got nothing bad to say about this establishment, and I’ve been shopping here for a long time! Keep doing what you do!”

“Although inflation has severely dampened my enjoyment of grocery shopping, Natural Grocers is still my favorite for organic, whole fruits and vegetables. I agree with the above poster, no idea why there is no bulk section, would like to see that verses in prepackaged plastic containers. Even MOC, Capella, Kiva and Sundance have bulk bins.”
“It was good I enjoy walking around looking at unique variety of food. Households items, and some fun stuff for kids too. They always have some fun gardening stuff too. Even if you forgot birthday cards they got them there too. They have a very wide range of wines and local brews.”

“Typical Safeway just to be honest, lol. Close to our house, so that's a plus. Usually, there is plenty of parking like a typical Safeway. Usually open until 11 or 12, I think. It's not a bad place to do your monthly food shopping at all (we always do ours here, lol). All in all, it's Safeway ???♂️??⬛”
“Best local Dairy Mart hands down! The manager is always polite, the store is very clean and well stocked and she is constantly bringing in new hot food items to match her customers tastes. Scott, Brandon, Kori and James are some of the best people I have ever been helped by at any little store - always friendly, always helpful. There are more crew members at this store that make the day awesome every time you stop in, but I haven’t learned everyone’s names. Overall, the manager of this store, and her crew obviously care about their store and community and we are blessed to have them as a part of our neighborhood.”

But a huge shout out needs to be said to the young cashier man with tatoos who's positive vibes shined bright. I forgot my wallet and went to my car and a another person paid for my snacks by the time I returned. I saw this man in the parking lot and gave him a big hug. We do not have a lot of really greatstories out there. So walterville your people rock!”

“Definitely not a full service grocery store, but they did have a good selection of sandwiches, salads and ready made lunch items. They have good snacks at a reasonable gas station convenient store price and they also have a hot food deli at the counter with hot food like potatoes and corn dogs ready to go.”
