It’s fully fenced and you need a code to get in, which provides immediate peace of mind knowing your dog is safe and secure.
The entire staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. Every time we drop our pup off, it doesn’t matter who is working that day they always remember our dog’s name, which says so much about the level of care and attention they provide for all of the dogs that come into their care.
One thing I especially appreciate is their thoughtful intake process. They take the time to meet you and your dog to understand your needs. Your pup gets to stay for a half-day trial of daycare to ensure your pup is a good fit to be there. That alone shows they genuinely care about each dog’s well-being and don’t treat clients like just a number.
Booking daycare and boarding is also incredibly easy thanks to their online app, which makes scheduling quick and convenient.
Rachel, the owner, and her team are some of the kindest, most dedicated people you’ll ever meet. Over a year ago we unexpectedly inherited our dog, Riley, and needed a place we could trust to board him. He has separation anxiety and struggles with being away from people. He especially does not like being locked down in a crate. Rachel took the time to work with him and help him feel comfortable, and he has made tremendous progress thanks to her care and patience. She is an amazing dog training and really takes the time to cater to what works and doesn’t work for our dog.
Riley now goes almost weekly and absolutely loves it. He’s not usually much of a tail-wagger, but as soon as he realizes we’re approaching Opportunity Barks, he gets so excited—wagging like crazy and trying to jump out of the car to see his doggy friends.
We drive over an hour just to bring our pup here, and we wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. If you’re looking for a place that will take the utmost best care of your pup and treat them like they are a part of their family as well this is the place to go. We are customers for life. Thank you Opportunity Barks for being such an amazing place for our pup.

Cioppino House
35843 OR-58, Pleasant HillFine dining in pleasant hill. My mother in law took us out for a double birthday celebration. Our waitress was very nice and helpful.The prawns with capers were great and plentiful. I also really liked the steamer clams.
Perhaps some time soon I’ll be back to try the signature dish Cioppino!
