She did amazing and they kept me up to date on her progress throughout the day of the procedure. Dr. Daly called me several times throughout the experience and reassured me by answering all of my questions and making me feel comfortable with the whole thing having never met him in person due to Covid. She’ll be 13 this fall and I have him and the team at OVRA to thank for the good time I have left with her.

We have a (very loved) pup with *severe* reactivity (aggression toward other dogs), leash puller is an understatement (he can and has dragged me), who went at our previous kitty. It has been *exhausting trying to find places to walk him where we won't run into other dogs (or SEE/HEAR dogs, which also sent him into a crazed frenzy!) Today, on ONE session, he was in the same yard as another dog behaving perfectly normal, walking right at her side. He was in a room with a kitty, lying down wagging his tail. He was walking RIGHT next to us on leash up the street. In ONE session (?!?) Dog Whisperer?? She is so much MORE. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. Julia was our last hope and has given us light at the end of the tunnel. Jaw droppingly amazing. We have more work to do (we humans), but have HOPE.

Adobo was rich in flavor and the pancit had an array of vegetables dotting the noodles with a generous serving of crispy belly. I love Filipino food and Maynila is on my short rotation after my first visit was so delightful. If you're not eating here, make the trip to the east edge of Springfield. It's worth it.

But when we do, we enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and delicious coffee. We don’t often buy food with our coffee there but when we have, it has always been delicious too. The standard salsa had great flavor but was a bit thin. It came along with chips and pinto beans. Most of the food here was light on salt, but salt is on the table, so the option is yours. This is a nice baseline for restaurants. Ask for the other salsas if you want more heat or flavor. We will be back, and I have a feeling that Manny might be part of that.
