The Clyde Hotel Portland by Kasa is a stylish and unique place located in the heart of downtown Portland. Its ideal location makes it perfect for walking to nearby attractions like Powell’s Books, the Pearl District, and many restaurants, bars, and shops. The hotel offers easy access to public transit, making it convenient for exploring the city. The building itself has a rich history, with architectural details that give it a very Portland vibe. The lobby is especially praised for its high ceilings, vintage charm, happy plants, and hip atmosphere, creating a cool and welcoming space. The mezzanine area adds a fun touch, serving as a great spot for working or gathering with friends. Guests appreciate the comfortable, vintage-inspired rooms with great views and good water pressure. Many find the rooms simple and clean, providing a straightforward and enjoyable stay. The staff are generally friendly and helpful, with compliments on their helpfulness and warm energy, although some reviews mention a less friendly interaction with a staff member on one occasion. The hotel has a lively vibe, with a vibrant lobby and a nearby coffee shop that offers good vegetarian breakfast options. While there was a mention of a clothes steamer blowing up and a loud incident late at night, these issues did not overshadow guests’ positive impressions of the hotel’s atmosphere, vibe, and overall experience. Many guests express a desire to return, citing the hotel’s flexibility, style, and prime location as key reasons. Overall, The Clyde Hotel offers a fun, convenient, and charming Portland stay.
2 things: the clothes steamer blew up because it was so clogged, scalding water all over me... whatever tho, the only other thing is 3 am the guests were hanging out in the hallway and being SUPER loud. But... I loved the feel, the vibe, the rooms, and their flexibility. All hotels should be more like them..

Had an excellent stay at The Clyde to get some work done. Room was quiet. Heat worked excellently. Had a wonderful view of Downtown Portland. Would stay here again.
