Park Lane Suites and Inn is a laid-back, vintage-style hotel offering good value in a quiet neighborhood. The property consists of two buildings, one with an elevator and a more motel-like annex without. The rooms are older, somewhat small, and can feel cramped or a bit outdated, but they are consistently described as extremely clean and comfortable, with good water pressure and dark, quiet conditions for great sleep. Some suites feature kitchenettes. The location is a major plus, being not far from Washington Park, the Oregon Zoo, and the Rose and Japanese Gardens. The front desk staff receives high praise for being extremely kind, helpful, and welcoming, offering excellent customer service. A significant benefit is the included free parking, though it is noted as tight, with an overflow lot available a block away if needed. While the hotel is nothing fancy and some areas could use more thorough cleaning or updates, it is considered eminently serviceable for the reasonable price, with many guests stating they would definitely stay again.
Service was prompt and friendly. Assisted us with bus/train directions to the Portland Japanese Gardens (up hill). Only took us 25 minutes to walk back.

Very reasonable and you are right in downtown. Parking space is limited but we got it most of time during day but we didn’t get it at night
