“Really great building with spacious apartments at a super reasonable price. I’ve lived here for a year and have no complaints. The gym and top floor amenity space are such a nice perk. The building feels extremely safe and comfortable and the staff here couldn’t be friendlier.”
“I recently moved into Raleigh Slabtown and the team was efficient and so helpful. My application was processed quickly, and they communicated every detail from start to finish. Dani welcomed me with a smile and answered all of my questions when I picked up my welcome packet. Overall, this was the easiest move-in process I've experienced.”
“This apartment complex is amazing!!!
Since applying & now moving in everything was seamless. Maintenance team is fabulous and comes in a timely manner!! This place is above a 5 star!! ⭐️ highly recommend!”
“Our experience with the Eddyline Apts has been great. Emily and Nick have gone above and beyond to assist us with all of our requests. They also sent a heart warming sympathy card when our pet passed away. It’s the thoughtfulness and personal touch that sets Eddyline apart from the rest.
Thank you Emily and Nick for your kindness.”
“I can't say enough about Rhone Todd-Fields and Griffis South Waterfront in Portland! Such a friendly, clean and upbeat place to visit! Love, love, love the coffee/espresso machine in the lobby! I live out of state but am hoping to rent at Griffis South Waterfront soon!! Lovely place to live, beautiful park across the street, local awesome restaurants and bars-what more could you want?”
“There are so many great things I could say about Q21 but I’ll keep it short and sweet. First of all the location is absolutely prime! A stones throw away from New Seasons for all your groceries and tons of beautiful restaurants and shops in the area. I think my favorite part of Q21 is the staff! Anhmy and Rebekkah are always so friendly and helpful. If you are looking for the perfect spot, look no further!”

“I’ve lived here almost 2 years now and really enjoy it. The staff is wonderful, they work really hard to keep everything clean for us. I’ve never had any issues with sounds from my neighbors, and I feel safe in the Aster Tower. It’s so nice to have a concierge available 24/7. Arely is especially helpful!!”
“Husband and I lived in Banbury for 2 years we loved it very quiet neighborhood. They are quick to fix anything you need.
Ginger and everyone in the office is so lovely and welcoming! ☺️”
“This was the first place I visited to tour as I moved into Portland- I met Sarah who gave us our tour! The staff here is amazing, unmatched to any other apartment in the PDX area. Really safe, they host cool monthly events which is nice to socialize and make friends. After visiting others places my heart was set on Block 17, such kind and professional staff. Been living here for at least a year and I love it!”
“Great location in the Portland Pearl District.
The doorman was friendly.
The community spaces were well appointed and pleasing to the eye.”
“Great experience. I've been renting here for about a month and the leasing office is quick and on top of things—Tyler made the process quick and easy. The location is SO GOOD for a mid budget spot. Everything is clean, no porch pirates, you're close to everything, maintenence is fast, everyone is friendly. Love it.”
“I am moving into the Sawyer Pointe Apartments in Scappoose. So far everyone has been so kind and friendly. The maintenance team works very quick and efficiently at getting things fixed/replaced/ordering parts as well as informing the residents they serve with information regarding the requests. The manager of the apartment complex is such a warm and bubbly person. She cares about the residents and does all she can to make sure they are very-well taken care of.”
“Researching the website a smile came to my face. What an opportunity for both age groups to benefit from experience and youth. I wish there was a way I could support 2 foster children. We should design a grant that after training and background check, that individuals like myself that love children, have had extensive experience, training and education including being a mother myself could have the opportunity to participate. My only barrier is financial, seems that it is money they are concerned about VS providing unconditional care and love safety and nuturing environment. The state spends more on holding on to the children than if they paid a enough to cover rent and food per month while 2 children then get the life they deserve.”
“This building is great. The amenities are actually better than similar buildings. Janitorial is in here regularly, so it's always really clean. The floorplans are well thought out and have lots of great features. Ethernet jacks, new washer dryer combos, big kitchen sinks and dishwashers. The split unit AC is amazing. Location is awesome, it's a bit closer to the Pearl than it is to Nob Hill even though it's technically in Nob Hill. You can get a street parking permit through the city.
I've only needed maintenance a couple times but when I have they've been great. Alexis in the office is a damn rockstar, I hope she sticks around because she's absolutely amazing.
The noise level. It's a modern building so there is less noise overall compared to the older apartments in this area. My neighbor plays amplified music on occasion and I can barely hear it when he does. It's rare to hear footfall from your neighbors upstairs.
What you will hear is doors, drawers and cabinets slamming. This is the only reason I didn't give it five stars. Unfortunately people just don't think that there is someone on the other side of the wall so if your neighbor has a habit of slamming their front door, kitchen cabinets or bathroom drawers, you're unfortunately going to hear it.
It's certainly not a deal breaker. If you want absolute complete silence 24/7, you'll need to look at the pricier buildings. Other than that, this building is great and I would 100% recommend it.”
“I’ve lived at the Union at St. John’s since January. There are many wonderful things about living here, but the highlight is by far seeing Mt Hood AND the St. John’s bridge from my apartment. I live in a 2 bedroom with my partner and our 2 dogs. We have plenty of room for living comfortably and a storage unit down the hall from our apartment to house our unused items. There is a lovely patio, garage parking, a nice community room and gym, there’s a dog washing station and monthly resident repurpose and recycle events. The apartment is really quiet except for street traffic, but it’s to be expected in the more urban setting. We love the aesthetic of the building, the attentive maintenance staff, the location (walking distance to several parks and Lombard street), and most importantly, this building is full of friendly people and adorable doggos making it feel like home. If you’ve never been to St. John’s, it’s a great little community with everything you need nearby/within walking distance, access to disc golf at Pier Park, Chimney park for the dogs, lots of restaurants and bars, several grocery markets, and the most beautiful bridge in all of Portland. I highly recommend The Union at St John’s!”
“It’s a great place to live. Staff are friendly, and maintenance work is done promptly. If I had to pick an area for improvement, I would say cleaning of the stairs - power washing even just once a quarter would be great.”
“I lived here from 2015 to 2021, and I loved it. There were some annoyances like weirdly small kitchen drawers, but I've come to see that all over Portland, so it's not just this building. I miss it but I don't miss my commute.”
“This place is a place of character real compassion. My brother whom was chronological without a home.I spoke with Caleb, now my big brother just had major heart procedure and was unsteady. they were compassionate toward our situation. And my brother a great place in swanky neighborhood. All love to the management young Caleb and the younglady who is the manager there..Treondaus Morman”
“The repairman was kind and accommodating to my schedule, and fixed the broken window and dishwasher very soon after I submitted the maintenance request. I was expecting a delayed response due to the holiday, but was instead met with the usual efficient and effective response.”
“Lived here for 2 years before outgrowing the space, but God almighty was this place perfect for my needs. If you're single and want to live downtown, this is the spot.”
“Living here was great. Maintenance requests were handled swiftly and the team was very responsive. Keith was a pleasant man to work with and went out of his way to remember the little things. The building is located in a good area with lots of access to public transportation.”
“Great place to live if you're single. Apartments are very small. Good secure entrances. Manager is nice and usually on sire a couple days per week. Laundry room is clean. Packages are delivered and put in a secure location. Each floor has two kitchens for residents to use. Main floor has the only oven for resident use. I enjoyed my stay here and felt secure.”

“Im surprised that this apartment has a 2.6 review. These guys are awesome and attentive to your needs. Compared to the other Tandem properties, this is one of the best ?”
“I'm writing this a few months into my lease, so this is not just a "honeymoon" review, and I gotta say I am totally into the Indigo!
Life is always going to...life. So what really matters is the team you're dealing with and how they manage those hiccups. And I can tell you *nobody* does it like THIS team. No matter what, they've treated me 100% of the time like a real human with real human needs and a real human life. They don't make excuses. They don't lead you in circles with the dreadful ol' property mgmt speak. And they really do want to make things work out for you.
Security is really on-site all the time. Concierge is amazing. Alia makes me feel better every day. Jake and Peter are lightning fast problem solvers. Seriously. They do it all. And they're never annoyed to help you with your inevitably annoying thing.
Mike, Joe, and Larry run maintenance and are the best crew I've met at both communicating and managing it all. And they are SO respectful of your space.
Everything is clean. All the time. Amenities are actually useful and accessible. Elevators are fast and always working. Decent gym. Nice rooftop. Secure package delivery. Easy trash and recycling deposits. I always have hot water. I don't hear my neighbors much at all. Love my views. It's just...great. I've lived a few places around the area, and the Indigo beats them all. Not even a competition.
Rebecca and Alicia on the leasing team are amazing. And Julie will knock your socks off with the way she manages this community. True dedication all around.
My only regret is not moving here sooner and that now I might be spoiled by how amazing this team is. So hurry up and get over here already!”
