I have stayed in this hotel. Many, many times enough to earn three or four free nights. So I have stayed in almost every room in the hotel, and all of the alarm clocks are set for 6 am... I'm assuming they want you to get up and get out. That's why i'm taking one star off the.Review. Other than that I love this hotel

Great stay, we love that McMenamis is consistent. Staff was friendly, restaurant onsite was great, location was good. We realized we wanted to be more in the Hawthorne district but it was a quick drive. Parked in a near by garage for $26 overnight

We loved our stay! It is a classic McMenamins experience: kooky, delicious, with good service. The staff were all wonderful.
Parking is a pain in the tookus, so plan accordingly, or come without a car. Everything you might want is within walking distance anyway, and the public transit is robust.
