    “Me and my coworker the other day had went to Rays, they apparently have an 8.99 deal and you get a sandwich, one of their bag of chips by the deli, and a fountain drink! Nice deal. I didn't know they had this deal until then. I liked the sandwich and I think the deli worker was a nice lady. In general this rays is nice, EBT doesn't seem to work at self checkout for people tho, I've noticed.”

    “My husband and I had a delicious, nutritious, freshly prepared meal from the hot and cold bar, and we paid roughly what we would have at a fast food place. Our compliments to the chef - we know Indian food, and their rice would have impressed the Indian grandmas. Their veggies left us feeling good and satisfied. I felt no need to eat any meat, which is rare for me, but my husband tried the tandoori chicken and liked it. Their mission is to serve the community and support small businesses, and they live up to it from what we could see. A very well-run establishment!”

    “I really do love every grocery outlet. This one in particular has been my go to. I will drive across town just to experience this location. I have seen the same employees for quite some time as well as new ones. They are always working, well stocked, and super friendly. All good deals on items…. And today I had the experience of spinning a wheel, getting an airbrush tattoo, and a complimentary beverage. I’ve never gotten that anywhere else. I appreciate everyone there so much. Thank you!!!     “I have always liked this store. Average prices and usually amazing people. At least all the times i been there! Really caring and kind lady last time. She let me buy a couple homeless people coffee. Some places have told me i can't. As i was buying a cup and letting them choose what kind they wanted. It is across from the mens homeless shelter. But most of the guys are friendly or keep to themselves. The real bad guys wouldn't be there as they don't want to follow rules or get along with others. People trying to better themselves there. Anyways, great store. Found some amazing candy in there super cheap and i was stoked.”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
