There is a $55 deposit beware of this, I thought it was fair for the time they took to look at it.
They found the problem but in order to proceed with the repair it would cause data loss.
I declined any further service & accepted my loss.

“Late at night the day before an international flight, my laptop’s charging/usb port suddenly stopped working. I needed a quick fix to get me through my trip, since the proper replacement part would take time to order and I wouldn’t be back in town until later this year.
The next morning, I called around and CompRite in Lake Oswego was the only place I came across that could handle the repair same day for my situation, and I even got quoted a competitive rate. I dropped it off around noon, and by 5 PM they had it working again ready for me to pickup. They probably would have been done even sooner, it’s just that the repair specialist who handles that type of repair wasn’t on site and so they had to coordinate with him before starting.
I believe Damon was the person I spoke with at the shop, and he made sure everything moved along quickly so I'd have my laptop back in time for my flight later that night. The repair was exactly what I needed to keep my laptop charging while I’m out of town. I’ll return for the full part replacement once I’m back, but for now, I’m super relieved and thankful they were able to help on such short notice. Highly recommend!”

“Recently I was advised to change my cell phone number due to it being associated with fraudulent actitivies. I have attempted to port my landline number, which I have had for 10+ years, but hardly used. First, I contacted AT&T customer service by dialing 611, but I got many run arounds because I was porting my landline number instead of comletely new number; besides they still seemed to use people abroad. Thus, I decided to walk into this AT&T store.
Tanner has immediately understood the situation and expertly handled the situation. He has assisted me about a year ago when I lost my phone and helped me activiate a phone I purchased from Best Buy. He remembered me.
Tanner is professional with wide range of knowledge like porting landline number, and if he is at the store, I actually prefer to wait and go to him even if he is serving another customer. AT&T Store West Linn is fortunate to have a great customer service person like Tanner.”

“My phone could no longer charge -- apparently the port was damaged. Melanie one of the people that worked there first examined the port and found it had lint and other gunk in it. It charged briefly but was no longer dependable.
So Melanie told me how I could change plans and get a new version of my phone for $100 (not including the plan change). I went from 4g to 5g and got a new phone and a better plan (better reception.) She also was great in that she put on the screen protector perfectly -- no air bubbles. And she helped me get a couple good fast wall chargers! Excellent customer care! Thank you, Melanie!”

“I went into this location tonight pretty disgruntled from my day, and letting off my steam towards the employees with my current issue (that wasn’t even their fault, but my phone being buggy). Addy quickly addressed it, apologized for any inconvenience even though it was out of there hands, and went above and beyond assisting me with my phone, doing network resets, updates, everything I wouldn’t have known to do. They also gave me alternative ways to solve my problem if this didn’t work. All I can say is I AM IMPRESSED. She and her assistant manager (Jessica I believe, sorry I’m terrible with names) could have easily said it wasn’t their problem and sent me on my way, instead they took over an hour helping me diagnose my problems, find solutions, and even saved me tons of money on the side by switching to their internet too. This kind of customer service is unheard of now. I am beyond pleased, and left with a huge smile on my face. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, that being said addy deserves a raise! They even gave me a new screen protector since mine had broken. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! I played all the scenarios of how it could go in my head before coming in, I didn’t expect to get this kind of commitment. A+++ :)”
