“By far the cleanest store I have ever shopped in! Similar to an Aldi and/or Lidl regarding the prices, but they actually carry food brands that you would see in chain stores like Publix or Harris Teeter.Very organized, and everyone is so friendly and helpful. Wish we had this in Charlotte!”

“Don't leave without grabbing a bag of the dark chocolate peanut butter cups (seconds) in the candy aisle and a container of Lapps espresso coffee drink from the cooler. A great place to wander through. Be sure to visit when you need to stock up on baking necessities!”
“Absolutely love the deep discount on groceries. They have large selection of frozen sections. Always new deals on rotating stock, but always core staples too. Friendly staff and clean store. Only complaint is...there isn't one in Lancaster proper. I think SS could compete with Grocery Outlet.”
“The shopping experience was great. All the people behind the meat counter were helpful, friendly and made you feel at home. Shelf spaces was organized and products were easy to find with clearly marked prices. The checkout person even offered a horseradish sauce for my soft pretzels.”
“We absolutely love to shop at this store and often take home dinner from the Cafe's Express take out section. The meatloaf and broasted chicken are delicious! If you have the chance - try their homemade red potato salad with bacon and cheese - it is seriously the best. Well done Dutch-Way! :)”
“Pretzels yummy!!! Home made crafts with wide variety that were special and bought some for gifts. If had more room in luggage home would have bought more! Bought some treats that didn’t have a lot of additives and they were yummy but had a lot of other higher calorie foods that looked great too. Had natural soaps I purchased for gifts and jars of different all natural items, i.e. sleep, sun screen, home remedies, etc. I would have loved to buy more but no room! Great selection of everything and too much to list!!”

“New!!Bank cards excepted now.This health food store is very popular in the area and has a wide variety of items. The staff is very helpful in trying to find the right product for you. They have everything from fresh vegetables and meats through all the supplements as well as canned goods and dry goods. There are soaps in shampoos and cleaners. There is even free information about a lot of the products in flyers. Even a small bookstore about health.You can tell they put in the effort to bring you healthy products that they can find and they're growing all the time.And yes they do take credit and debit cards now! It is with a fee though additional percentage.”

While they don’t have everything, it’s definitely worth the compromise to get those great savings. Definitely find where your local Aldi is at!”

“You can find everything you need here. Prices are a little higher than Walmart, but the quality is worth it in my opinion. Their produce is really fresh and not on the verge of spoiling like some other markets in the area. They are one of the few places that still have a full meat and deli counter where you can get freshly sliced meats and cheeses.”
“I love Ebenezers and have been a customer for at least five years. Never have I had a bad experience or a product issue until this week when I purchased a vitamin supplement on 10/23/23. It wasn’t until I got home (I live out of state) and went to open the cap when I noticed the bottle was already opened/unsealed and more than half of the supplement tablets were missing (100 tablet supplement only had about 20 tablets in it). I called to try to get a refund because I live out of state, but they said I would have to physically bring the item in for store credit. I would have no problem doing this if I was local to Ephrata. But I cannot simply bring the item in when living in another state. Like I said, I have never had a product issue in my years of shopping here so I did not think to check every product before leaving to see if each product is already unsealed and opened/used. But from now on it would be wise for customers to do so. It would also be wise for the staff to check products to see if they are already used or missing product. I am disappointed that a refund couldn’t be issued to my card over the phone with my receipt and transaction number and information.”
“The very best in-house butcher shop anywhere...I drive here for my chopped meat...steaks...chicken and pork products... everything is fresh and handled right here...as good as a private butcher shop...no warehouse yucky quality meat here...it's the only place we go and the weekly circular sale prices are great”
“I go here all of the time for sandwiches and other stuff like drinks. Everyone is super nice and their selection is great. My favorite is the tripleta sub - easily the best I have had. You can also call ahead 15-20 mins for pickup to make your stop quick”

She was very pleasant and greeted us with a smile, her warm heart, and delightful sense of humor. Oh, what a world it would be if we had more people like sweet Regina. “The employees there were so kind to me ,it was a blessing ,I am a disabled one legged Marine Corp vet and they went into their own pockets and to lend me 75 cents and when I tried to pay the money back the two employees refused to take the change I owed them ,please don't reprimand them the change came from their own pockets ,with employees like that ,give them a pat on the back and a well done ,God bless them”
