“Heard that they are closing down on February 14, 2022. I am saddened by this news. I headed out there the other day and although their inventory at the store is not what it used to be, I was still able to find some stuff to buy. Bummer their sugar-free section is very small or I would have bought much more. Best of luck to you guys in the future as you will surely be missed here in Ephrata.”

“I’ve been personally stopping there for lunch for 20 years whenever I’m in the area. I can remember stopping there as a child for lunch. We would always buy Italian subs. Today was no exception I had a delicious sub. I also bought a pack of licorice which was a nasty buy. The stuff was hard, dried up, discolored and bland tasting. It should have been discounted significantly or taken off the shelf months ago. Oh well one bad purchase in 30 years I guess isn’t to bad.”

“We absolutely love to shop at this store and often take home dinner from the Cafe's Express take out section. The meatloaf and broasted chicken are delicious! If you have the chance - try their homemade red potato salad with bacon and cheese - it is seriously the best. Well done Dutch-Way! :)”

“This place has top tier Mexican Food! It NEVER disappoints. I have been in the area for over two years. I've ordered dozens of times. Very consistent, and the owners are nice people.”

“This is truly the nicest Sharp Shopper! The employees are so polite and they maintain the store very well. I'm a big fan. Great deals, clean store and pleasant employees! :)”

“Definitely has saved us a bunch of money shopping here instead of shopping at the grocery store that rhymes with “Bryant”Staple foods here are super cheap, and the “Aldi finds” are awesome to pick through. While they don’t have everything, it’s definitely worth the compromise to get those great savings. Definitely find where your local Aldi is at!”

“I love Ebenezers and have been a customer for at least five years. Never have I had a bad experience or a product issue until this week when I purchased a vitamin supplement on 10/23/23. It wasn’t until I got home (I live out of state) and went to open the cap when I noticed the bottle was already opened/unsealed and more than half of the supplement tablets were missing (100 tablet supplement only had about 20 tablets in it). I called to try to get a refund because I live out of state, but they said I would have to physically bring the item in for store credit. I would have no problem doing this if I was local to Ephrata. But I cannot simply bring the item in when living in another state. Like I said, I have never had a product issue in my years of shopping here so I did not think to check every product before leaving to see if each product is already unsealed and opened/used. But from now on it would be wise for customers to do so. It would also be wise for the staff to check products to see if they are already used or missing product. I am disappointed that a refund couldn’t be issued to my card over the phone with my receipt and transaction number and information.”

“Enjoy their recent upgrades, checkouts, dairy section, cooler section, etc. Can get quite busy, depending on the time of day and what day of the week you go. Always a good idea to check the dates, specifically dairy, yogurts, sour cream, etc...”

“You can find everything you need here. Prices are a little higher than Walmart, but the quality is worth it in my opinion. Their produce is really fresh and not on the verge of spoiling like some other markets in the area. They are one of the few places that still have a full meat and deli counter where you can get freshly sliced meats and cheeses.”

“Redness I love you I do. But your hygiene and beauty selections truly suck. I mean really, I have to go to other stores for this purpose, riles me up everytime. Wish the selection was vast as was so when I was a child”

“I can't get through to the pharmacy auto refill line. When i call, it just stops ringing after a while.... calling the main number listed on this page. This has been an issue for months.Edit:Giant followed up with a phone call and let me know that their service provider had some... difficultiesThat's been resolved and the phones shouldn't be an issue any more. Thanks Giant for the feedback!”

“Gas prices are average/in line with the competition, but by earning points shopping at Giant, getting 20 or 30 cents off a gallon is usually the norm for me.......”

“09108 2:30pm 1st time there and I was kind of impressed. It threw me off a bit with the set up. Every grocery store I've been in, coming through the door, the aisles are always vertical. At Redner's, the aisles run horizontal. Which is fine. I love hunting in the supermarket and stalking my prey. The store was very well stocked, great selection, and the prices were lower than Giants but higher than Sharp Shopper. The shelves were stocked full and to the front. Either pride beaming employees or maybe filming a commercial. Store was clean aisles are well marked. I was a little confused at first. 1A vs. 1B and so on. The employees were nice with the exception of one and we'll come back to that. Name brands, store brands, local brands. I had a good shopping experience here today. I'm not sure if I'll frequent this store. Mainly because it's out of my way. Ok back to the one and only negative employee part. And that part took your solid five star. As I was checking out at the Self-checkout, The employee there with dark hair & ponytail was talking smack about a customer that just left in a power chair. Apparently the customer wasn't friendly, didn't say bye, have a good day etc. but other than that. Fun was had by all.”

“This is one of the older turkey hills so obviously there's going to be some cracks and such here or there and you'll have to ask to use the restroom because it's in back, but hey it's my home town store and I'm there everyday. They know me by name and the place is always clean.”

“First Yelp is not the most reliable place to read a review. They have a hard time putting the right store etc, with the right state but Yelp is good for a laugh. Now About Weis Supermarket in Ephrata Pennsylvania not California or Wisconsin where this company does not do business. Although many areas have a market called Weis just not this company just read the short Bio above. I have been shopping here for many years along with the many other markets in the area including Walmart which is always out of stock cause they do not like to pay for extra help, so empty shelves. The sales here are great so you can really save there on groceries and meats. The store has gone through many changes over the years, remodeling and managers and some were definitely better than others. My last trip in they were putting in new dairy cases for their customers which was nice. A family and of course senior citizens can stretch their dollars here. Use their ads and you can plan a whole weeks menu plus gets 10 cents for every $50 you spend off gas, nice! Pharmacy is great and very helpful there also. Always willing to explain or answer any questions you may have. They really have a nice team there, it's the only pharmacy we will use. Weis also has online ordering, store pickup and home delivery which is very handy. I use my coupons there as they double and there Fantastic Friday's are good also especially at the holiday. The one thing I do not like is that the ad for Fantastic Friday is no longer in the paper but you can go on to there website. Oh, and by the way I have been shopping here for over 25 years!”

“Walmart Ephrata, what a world of difference between E York and Ephrata Walmart #1 they had horse stalls out in the parking lot for the Amish to park the horse and buggy's. Cool. #2 the bathrooms were so clean they had air freshener they had paper towels out and we couldn't believe everything was so clean we must have had 4 employees ask us if we needed any help finding things we walked out speechless. We thought we had traveled to a parallel universe were it was opposite then our own.”

“I have been coming to this weis for a few years now and it is my favorite local location. The facilities are always clean. The have a good selection to choose from and I enjoy their gluten free section. I like the options they have for prepared foods as well. This weis is in a convenient location right in a strip mall. There are not many grocery stores in the area and if you're going to choose a weis location I would come here.”
