“We are from New York visiting family here in Altoona and this was a great Italian market with great sandwiches! NY approved! So happy we found this little gem! We got the meatball sub, an Italian combo and an Italian roast beef. The sandwiches are packed with meat and they don’t skimp on the meat! Highly recommend”

“Highly recommend!!! I was in an accident, my car wouldve been totaled for sure. Air bags all deployed and front end completely smashed in. It took 5 days for my insurance company to get back to me about my claim and ended up not covering it because they found out i was working during the accident. Peterman was in contact with me during those 5 days and was very helpful. When we found out the insurance wasn’t going to cover it and we had to pay to get it out, he charged us less then half of what it wldve been AND even towed it back to our home for no extra charge. Very good man.”

“I typically went to the plank road location but went to this one for a friend prescription. Fully staffed!!! I believe every register was in use by an actual cashier. Lots of shoppers but all quickly checked out and on their way as it should be. Friendly staff treated you like a customer and were very helpful. Great experience.”

“The raspberry almond white chocolate cake is worth every penny. I have only ever found it at giant eagle. Giant eagle has the Best bakery and produce anywhere. There wasn't one time I've gone in there and not found am item i was looking for.

“Rather go there than sheets. They raised their pop. Better atmosphere. Plus weis and sheets raised their pop 60 cents a 2 liter. Weis produce is b terrible. Most of the time it's starting to turn bad immediately”

“I live in the neighborhood so I frequently stop in here , I think it's way nicer than when it was a fefis . The Indian guy that runs the store is a very friendly and helpful guy . I always feel welcome when I stop in this store . They keep it very clean and shelves are always stocked . I'm not too fond of the skill machines only because they draw in a bunch of weirdos that are crazy , they act like crackheads the way they guard the machines . Don't worry dirtball I was just walking down the isle I don't even play the machines haha”
“Martins gas station on chestnut Ave is a good place to fill up when you are out getting groceries., because they give you points with every dollar you spend on groceries at the store there or any of the Martin grocery store you can now keep your points they seem to roll over from month to month which is pretty good .??????⛽?????⛈”

“I went to inquire about employment. The cashier was oddly rude when I asked her..how are you today? She was disgruntled and acted like she was the only person who ever had a job. She complained about the pay and the higher ups ripping her off on her paycheck...needless to say...I'd rather work anywhere else than there! Other than the not so friendly employee, the store was neat and looked somewhat clean.”

“I always shop at giant and on one of my grocery trips with my father we were short 20 dollars. Cashier Becca paid for the rest of our groceries out of pocket, I am so thankful for the amazing employees at giant, especially Becca for being kind in a time of need.”

“Fefi's grocery and convenience stores is one of my favorite quick stop places to shop. Especially for gas or cigarette items. They're always courteous and aim to please.”
“The only grocery and pharmacy I use. They have good deals. I get a lot of points quickly to use for eggs seeing they're ridiculously high in price and for gas.”

“A store reset was under way. I only needed a snack for a drive I was making. An extremely helpful and kind... new employee... with her natural kindness struck up a conversation and in no time knew exactly what I needed and took me directly to it. I've made my life career in customer service and I'm telling you... this girl HAS IT! What a nice change... someone that WANTS to help the customer... because they genuinely care! “I have been using this pharmacy for at least twenty years since developing a medical condition in middle school. The staff have always been very helpful and tried to guide me through the complexities of insurance roadblocks if my doctor made changes, my job changed, etc. over the years. They have been a wonderful pharmacy to work with and I wouldn't go anywhere else!”

“A nice big clean Walmart super center. I thought there was a Subway in this Walmart, but they did not have one so we were on a trip decided to buy a sandwich from their premade sandwich display. It was good and fresh and the bread was nice and soft and only cost 3.86. This Walmart supercenter has a large large parking lot with the Sam’s Club and Sam’s gas in the same area.”

“Got a pork roast from here for my mom and it was by far the best pork and sauerkraut we have ever eaten, pork was amazing!! Everyone at the table said the exact same thing. I highly recommend Grandview Meats. Also Mel had wonderful customer service the day I went to pick it up. I wish we had one down south.”
