My senior mini-schnauzer has tried many grooming providers in her life, but none as caring and attentive as Katie. And those qualities matter, particularly with pups who get anxious during these services.
There is a palpable zen vibe when you enter the shop. Soft music, calmed dogs on the table and a total absence of loud, clattering noises and the hurried chaos (that can be so typical of some grooming establishments from over-booking) greet you. Katie listens, observes, adapts and accommodates to make your pet feel relaxed and comfortable.
When I picked Ava up at the promised time, not only did she look phenomenal with her well-upgraded schnauzer cut and style, but she was happy! She’d received gentle treatment, and some yummy and holistic rewards. There was no shaking/trembling/panting on our ride home, and she was the most relaxed I’d ever seen her following a grooming service.
We are very happy customers and feel so incredibly fortunate to have found Katie and her Hair of the Dog salon. Her pricing is reasonable, and she is very organized and respectful of you, your time, and your pup!

Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to RocketMan the next day. Dr. Capuzzi called us with her condolences. It was very much appreciated. He has been there for us on a VERY personal level and helped us through some very hard times as well as MANY HAPPY YRS , as he has ALWAYS shown love , compassion and care for about 10 of our dogs and cats !!! My original vet never got down to the reason. She was very sick and not eating when I brought her to Dr King. He and his entire staff are fantastic! He is an old time vet. He has work diligently trying to figure out what has been wrong with Phoenix. He even gave me his cell phone number to text him directly. I finally feel confident after two years that he will come up with a solution to her problem.

Ridge hall is a great add to the Ambler Main Street food scene and PMP is a keeper. Hope to see more vegetarian options! Will be back. Excellent service (for people complaining about slow service - give it a rest. Running a restaurant is not easy)

She recommended delicious dishes from the new menu like the burratina, carne apache, tetela, shishito, elote, and huitlacoche ravioli. Huitlacoche, a delicacy harvested from corn, and the carne apache dishes were my favorites of the night. Highly recommend any of the desserts, especially the meringue and tiramisu. Passion fruit juice was delicious as well. This is my favorite go-to spot! Everything had such a depth of flavor, I forgot to take pictures. The pictures I took don’t do the food justice at all!!

It does stink you can't bring your own food in especially because their food trucks don't appeal to everyone.... esp the non meat eater who doesn't want to rely on something fried. Bartenders are always friendly.

43 N Main St, AmblerCute little shop off on Main Street in Ambler! We had chicken pot pies and a slice of key lime pie. The chicken pot pie was delicious. It is not traditional and is more like a handheld. Delicious filling full of chicken and veggies. The Key Lime pie was out of this world! The crust was buttery graham cracker delight. The filling was perfect. It’s so good we got a pie to take home, to enjoy later!
Service is great and ambiance is cute and comfy!
