“It's a well known chain of retail outlets! Visited one in midtown Manhattan! The Shop was spacious and well stocked. Fruits, snacks and many essential items !It's well located and enjoys many footfall even in weekdays!”
“I love coming here! The store is always clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They have a great selection of fresh items that you can't always find at the bigger chains. It’s a fantastic local spot in Upper Darby—highly recommend checking them out”
“Matt and Mike’s Italian Market is the best place in South Philly! I love their Italian Specialty Hoagies on Sarcone’s Bread! I’ve been coming here since I was a child, picking up groceries with my grandmother. Now, I take my child there. My grandmother, Cathy, has been a loyal customer since the beginning. Matt and Mike have grown as a family and witnessed generations grow.
I see some reviews on here about “scams” or people’s “card number” being used, but these guys are real honest and solid people. I’ve never had any type of transaction fraud my whole life of knowing them. These are some good men who work hard to provide for their families. I highly recommend Matt & Mike’s Italian Market!!”
“This is a wonderful family market with quite a few excellent items that are hard to find a United States. I got Wheaten flour, marmite, digestives with DARK chocolate, and some wonderful looking mustards. They also have lots of Irish sweets. The lady behind me was all over the crisps. It’s worth a visit if you appreciate Irish food. The staff was very helpful. I hear they get a lot of good stuff in at Christmas time. I’ll have to come back and check. It was definitely worth the drive.”
“Great little specialty store !! Their homemade quiche is AMAZING!!! Picked up some caviar and snacks too!!! Great service… the gals that helped me were so nice helping me out!!!”
“Hoagies are delicious establishments very clean smell good the workers are very professional I love it and I will be back & I recommend everyone get their hoagies from here”
“I absolutely love Klein’s!!! The best neighborhood grocery store you could ever ask for. They have everything you need, and the prices are very reasonable! They also carry a good selection of local baked goods, and the produce is always good. Very grateful for this gem!”
“Great service and selection. I go to Claudio's for the flavored pastas especially the lemon pasta and the multi colored fafalle. I made pasta salad with them.”
“I love how this company gives back to the community. They helped hospital employees when our hospitals shut down. They help food insecure. A friend of mine bought me a gift card to help me do homeless outreach. It makes outreach more affordable. We have been happiest with the chicken, steaks, shrimp, muscles and lobster tails. The bundles are also great!”
“Came in for a quick sandwich and some drinks. The lady working the front was so kind, so was the gentlemen working the deli. I was reminded why I miss living in Philadelphia.”
“Nothing can compare to how stacked Paul’s sandwiches are. It’s one of the few mom and pop shops around, where you call the shop by the other owners name, not the shop name. Every time I go to Paul’s and get a Paul Paul sandwich I know I’m going to have a good day.”
“Been going here for two years now. Great BLT and smoothies, great BEC. Everything, this is the perfect place. I love it and will
Be moving soon but every time I’m in the area I’ll have it. Everyone is friendly and it’s good vibes everywhere in there.”
“SO nice to find a place that still knows how to construct a proper fresh hoagie. Perfect amount of meat, cheese, veggies. Fresh roll, fresh cut meat, and cheese. Too many places either overstuff the thing or don't know how to layer it all right. This place knows, must be all the years of experience. 5 Stars all day”
“Ordered breakfast sandwiches (1 bacon, egg & cheese and 1 Taylor pork roll, egg & cheese) and they did not disappoint! The flavors in each sandwich were so good. From the fresh Kaiser roll, to the perfectly cooked fried egg topped with or without your favorite meat choice kept me going back for just 1 more bite. This mom & pop store is the best kept secret in Lower Providence! Can’t wait to go back to try their lunch items.”
“Yes we all love Martin Dale's however we spend a lot of money there and they have little exercise balls On the counter with their names on it that they sell for $2. Why not just give them away on certain days or over a certain amount you spend”
“Tasty kimbap. Stopped by for bananas for philly marathon and got some kimbap too. Very tasty. Hit the spot. It's a veggie market with looks like homemade korean foods.”
“Victor (the owner) is the best. He works his butt off to provide an amazing selection of products for neighborhood customers, with so many unique items you won’t find in other local major stores. Great selection of beer, seltzers and more! Definitely recommend this great local business.”
“This is such a great place with kind employees. Besides selling pretty much everything you need in your household, they just seem to care about their neighbors. Have stopped by so many times, always made me feel welcome. Being respectful to others doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you.”
“Drove 50 mins from Jersey to get here, first time and wasn't disappointed. Fresh fish, fresh Jamaican products, and produce. Customer service was excellent they helped me find all my products and helped with bags to my car.”
“You may experience a loooong line to get to the cashiers. But trust me! It'll be faster than in PennDot. You won't stuck in the line and wait. You'll keep on moving forward because they have literally more than 6 (I can't remember) registers are opened.
Super busy and awesome customer service. Thank you!”
“We're very lucky to still have a place like Joe's in our community. I go out of my way to support them because they do an amazing job: exceptional meat quality, fair prices, friendly service, community-minded, extremely accommodating -- they will go out of their way to fulfill your order and get you what you need in a timely manner! Given our economic climate, it makes me feel very good patronizing a business that helps keep the local economy in the hands of local people. Buy your meat at Joe's!”
“This is a Great Grocery store for all of your fresh organic and local produce and other products. Ready made sandwiches, soup, and baked goods, etc. Also the pizza dough is AMAZING. Friendly staff and great customer service.”
“I recently wanted to try out this advertisement of Popcorn..price at 2 for 7 dollars.. BjornQorn Truffle.. I will say it is very good & addictives .. But will also say dont give to children because of the truffle made black truffle salt. So this is my second bag.. it Adult popcorn not children.. . So if you looking for a great tastes and a party invite.. BjornQorn popcorn.. It xhas a smooth taste not gritty or over salty.. Great job on taste .”
“It's shocking how they can fit 90% of all of the stuff that's in a normal Trader Joe's into a store that's literally only 3 aisles. The staff are consistently out there restocking so there's never anything missing, and the cashiers are seriously the most efficient cashiers I have ever seen at a grocery store. The parking is always pretty full, but the turnover is so fast that you can always get a spot within like a minute”
“Felton’s mini market is a Family oriented business, they’ve positively affected the neighborhood for years and continue to do so, food is amazing and the staff is wonderful, they’ve remained humble and caring throughout all of their hardship, and still provide the same great quality food/service.”
“Was stocking up on my favorite Tangerine Ice Cream bars when the team member Ella was so nice and told me about the Ale version of them that they dont have in stock in our state, but she let me know the closest out of state store!”
“This shop is perfect for travelers looking to get some quality whole foods and good service. Small interior but packed shelves with good options, especially for nutrient forward foods and fresh produce.
Familiar brands and local fare like fresh baked bread and desserts.”
“Tortellini and Apple Kugel at the salad bar are top notch! The atmosphere is very family friend and has a great olde time feel to it. They carry a wide selection of products that are typically difficult to find.”
“Made the trip from chester County for the pepperoni sticks and chicken cutlets.
The people working were crazy nice- which is super rare in Delco.
The pepperoni brought back memories of the stuff we had back in overbrook.
The star of the show is the chicken cutlet! I bought one to try on the way to my stop. Devoured that in my truck and had to go in and grab a few pounds for home! Besides my own, these are some of the absolute best ones I have had. I would definitely go out of my way to grab more. It almost isnt worth making your own.
Stores like this need to be supported and kept in business! We need less wawa and more this!!”
“While not a full fledged supermarket in many regards, it is great for picking up Japanese delicacies and more focused on Japan for those into the culture. Go to H-Mart for more of a general Asian supermarket, but you can't go wrong with the Japanese focus here if you want more specific.”
