“As part of the Visit PA 2023 Scooped Ice Cream Trail, I made my way to New Salem. It was an over hill over dale trip. The local churches must have just let out. Several families came in with one focus ... ice cream. Cones, quarts, and gallons were sailing out the door. I sat outside on a bench and totally enjoyed my ice cream. One family joined me on the benches. They said stopping for Jackson Dairy was a mandatory stop on the way to and from grandparents' house in Laurel Caverns. Getting gas to make the trip home was 1 stop shopping.”

“I'm not sure where to even start........ every single thing I have ever gotten from this store has been absolutely wonderful!! The pepperoni rolls are phenomenal.... the princess cakes cannot be beat... the hot foods and catering are all super delicious and very reasonably priced!!! Honestly, I don't know why you would live in this area and not get what you need from Penncraft Market. Also, it is so important to buy local and keep our small businesses up and running. Kudos to everyone there who helps to make every visit worth every penny!! Keep up the good work!”

“I’ve never appreciated Rite aid more then I do now. I had to have a few prescriptions refilled out of state due to a temporary extended stay with sick family and I’m on pharmacy number 3 due to incompetent employees in these local out of state pharmacies. They’ve not only delayed my refills but they refilled them incorrectly. I can’t wait to get back to my Rite Aid in California. The staff there is extremely friendly and they know me by name when I walk in the door. Jennifer is super nice and helpful as is Chris and Eric and all who work assisting them. They know me and my prescriptions and if there a discrepancy they’re on it and resolve it quickly. They call me and keep me up to date on anything to do with my prescriptions that may come up and are always happy to advise on any questions I have. Thank you to all of them for all they do every day. Even things we as the public aren’t even aware of that they do to be good pharmacists and help their customers.”

The cook Kristy(who I graduated with)does and amazing job cooking and she’s always a blast to talk to! They have a nice selection of hot and cold drinks as well as tobacco products! “I worked at Circle K for a year almost, and all I can say about this place is wonderful! The customers are always so nice, a few regulars always made the shift easy. My coworkers were always fun to work with. We always tried to make everyone that comes in feel comfortable. Ask about there day, make them laugh, and most of important make sure your satisfied with your experience. I left a little over 3 months and still when I go in there, I get treated with respect, kindness, and love. The morning shift has so many people that will make sure you have a smile on your face before going to work. In the afternoon, they will make sure the bad day at work will change and you can go hime laughing to your family. And overnight, even tho it’s scary at times, they will make sure you get out of there safe, especially if you had a few beers. If you want to go to a place that will treat you with respect, and kindness, Circle K is that place!”
