Not only did he help me find what I needed, he took the time to explain the differences in the shoes so I could make an informed decision. He also took the time to take care of the shoe inserts (that you now have to cut to size?) so that I would not have to. And unless something would change, I always will purchase my shoes there, Thank you Dan for the great service!”

“Look, I didn’t walk into Dick’s Sporting Goods expecting a spiritual awakening—but then again, I also didn’t expect to be buying a $1,000 E-bike for my 70-year-old father-in-law who’s apparently entering his “Fast & the Furious: Retirement Drift” phase.

I came in expecting mild confusion and awkward eye contact. Instead, I got Dylan, Ty and Zack men so helpful I briefly considered renaming my current children after them. These guys didn’t just go above and beyond… they ascended. I’ve seen surgeons with less precision than them locating this bike, getting it prepped, and treating the whole transaction like I was adopting a rare falcon.

And no, I didn’t bring the car.
But I will.
And when I do?
Oh, buddy. Zack and his crew better brace themselves. This car doesn’t just arrive—it makes an entrance. Sirens may go off. Store lights may flicker. Someone’s probably going to try to film a TikTok. I want a red carpet. Possibly a wind machine.

Bottom line: If you’re not shopping at this Dick’s, with this team, you’re simply doing life wrong. They made me feel like a mix between an elite athlete and the guy who shows up late to Little League practice—but in a good way.
