“I had an excellent experience here, largely because of the outstanding staff. Jon went above and beyond to help me fix a mistake that happened during the reservation process. He handled it quickly and professionally, and everything he recommended about the room and the stay was exactly as he described.
I’m a Marriott Titanium member and typically stay exclusively at Marriott properties, so I have experienced a lot of hotels and staff over the years. I can honestly say I’ve never encountered a team this helpful and attentive before. Kudos to management for training and maintaining such a great staff at this location. The hotel itself may be a little dated, but very very clean, but the quality of the service more than makes up for it. Special thanks as well to Heather and Lourie for their kindness and professionalism. The entire team made the stay exceptional.”

“This hotel is located in the center heart of downtown Harrisburg. It is very beautiful. Walkable cute little area and downtown. Lors and lots of stuff for you to explore. It is 15-20 minutes drive to and from the airport. Very convenient and pretty (if you love city) the hotel room was nice the bed was so comfy and the hotel staff are so helpful and friendly! ??????”

“Stayed at Best Western Plus for a night and had a really good experience overall. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly from check in to check out. The room was well maintained, beds were comfortable, and everything felt organized and relaxing after a long day of travel.
The location was convenient and the overall atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was also a nice bonus with decent options available in the morning.
Would definitely stay here again for a trip.”

“My stay was defined by the incredible staff, who are the true stars of this hotel. From the accommodating front desk to the attentive restaurant and bar team, everyone was friendly and helpful. I was greeted personally in the lobby, my questions were answered cheerfully, and my room was always refreshed with fresh towels.
My only note is that the suite needed a more thorough clean upon arrival. However, the professionalism and warmth of the staff completely overshadowed this. They created a level of rapport and genuine care that I rarely experience, making the hotel absolutely worth it.”

“This is by far your best option in the New Cumberland area for a quality motel experience. This was my second stay, it was two nights, and I should have left a review after the first one cause of how great it was. On this day, I was originally supposed to be at the Super 8 New Cumberland, but the owner turned down my third party reservation for no reason. This was a blessing, first off because the Super 8 in New Cumberland is a disaster, and also because I ended up at the Highland inn. The place is run by Americans, hard-working people, who make sure you have a excellent stay. The rooms are individual, motor inn style, which I prefer over motels that have long hallways, and you have to carry your stuff farther in. Neither time I stayed, were there any bugs, pests, or excessive noise. Of course you can hear the highway, but that's normal for all the motels nearby. They always charge a very fair rate, competitive with all the other local motels, and worth any extra cause you're buying American. There's also a Rutter's only a half mile away, perfect for getting a good dinner or breakfast. Whether it's a short one night stay on a road trip, or an extended, choose Highland inn, lots of inexpensive alternatives nearby, but trust me, Highland inn is your best choice.”
“The Holiday Inn in Mechanicsburg was delightful. The customer service was superior, every person was kind, gracious and helpful. They made sure my room was clean, fresh and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very spacious. Lots of parking and the complimentary breakfast was so good! The hot food selection is fresh and had nice quality options. There's also cold cereals, oatmeal, fruit, yogurts, breads, pastries and a make your own pancake selection. Extra thank you to the front desk attendant Robin who helped me modify my reservations and went the extra mile to be caring and compassionate. This is a lovely establishment.”

“Stayed for two nights. This motel was your standard 1-star motel with faded road sign, bad paint job in the room, paper-thin walls, and a weird semi-remodeled bathroom. However, the room was very clean and the staff were super friendly! With the right expectations coming into it, this is a great place to say.”

It is an Express Inn.
The night clerk was quick to appear, very fast and friendly service. And an excellent price!!

I will say it was a little difficult seeing the turn into the parking lot.

The water took a bit to get hot. (Be patient it will get hot)
The ice machine didn't work. But not a deal breaker.
They do have drinks for a dollar in the lobby.

“I had an excellent stay at Candlewood Suites Harrisburg and would absolutely give it 5 stars. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and very helpful. Check-in was quick and easy, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt clean, safe, and comfortable.
The room was spotless and very spacious, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I really appreciated the full kitchenette, which made it feel more like home than a hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was quiet, so I was able to get a great night’s sleep.
The location is also perfect — close to restaurants, shopping, and the Hershey/Harrisburg area, which made getting around very convenient. The hotel was well-maintained, and you can tell they take pride in keeping the property nice for guests.
Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend Candlewood Suites Harrisburg to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and reliable place to stay.”

“Rooms are big, beds are comfy..customer service is top tier were ihg members hubby teaches a motorcycle class nearby doesn't get over till 230pm we asked for late check out so I'm not sitting in the cold, the manager didn't hesitate gave me till 130pm made my day allot easier and left a nice tip for housekeeping cuz I know it put them behind, we will be back for sure”
