“Went here for a funeral luncheon and was very surprised! Very beautiful inside! Food was very good and fresh! Staff and management were extremely friendly and hospitable. Sad that it no longer is a restaurant. But you would not amiss if you would schedule your next event here!”

“Food was delicious, portion sizes were satisfying without making us feel too stuffed, wine pairing pours were generous, staff was super friendly! We were happy we splurged on a fancy meal while traveling for a special occasion. I happily paid over $300 for the 5 course vegan menu for two, with wine pairings & an additional course we didn’t want to skip! At that price point, I really wanted the flavors & presentation to blow my mind. It wasn’t the most delish meal I’ve ever had, but we certainly enjoyed it a ton. The vibe of the restaurant also seemed too casual for this price point- staff in cotton logo tees & a pretty standard cafe aesthetic in the dining room. “This is a 68,400 seating, huge, multi-level, beautiful stadium with spacious, comfortable seats. The atmosphere in, and outside the stadium is awesome, but there's nothing quite like the Pittsburgh Steelers staff, fans, and of course football team. The energy that runs through this stadium is of the highest caliber. I have never visited a place where every aspect of the place is full of awesomeness. The only way to experience this, and all its glory is at a home game.
This should be on everyone's bucket list, regardless if your a Steelers fan or not.”

“We come for the Home and Garden show every year and always have a good time. The layout is simple and the concessions are decent. Parking for large events gets filled quickly but there are plenty of other lots nearby. Occasionally traffic gets congested underneath and can cause delays, but the street underneath is an easy drop off/pickup point”

“What an amazing experience!!! The gardens and trails are so well laid out with easily accessible amenities like bathrooms and water filling stations. The activities for the kids are a great mixture of fun and education. So much fun finding the tree mailboxes and little hidden houses. We were lucky enough to be there for the big bug exhibit and they are spectacular. Seeing all the native plants and bugs was inspiring and can’t wait to pull some of what we saw into our home garden!”

“What an amazing experience we had at the Art Room for my daughter‘s wedding celebration!
Kirsten, Lydia, Claire, and Laura were all fabulous! From the minute we reached out to them and then met each one to the very last hug goodbye, everything was perfect! They are the kindest and most knowledgeable people and the hardest working group I’ve ever seen! Everything looked so beautiful because the venue is amazing! I would recommend it to anybody and if I ever need another place for a party, I will be going there!”

“Hosted a beautiful bridal shower at the Whitehall House. The event coordinator, Kelly, was a pleasure to work with. She was extremely helpful and transparent with the rules and fees. Our day of hostess, Judy, was also wonderful! She had the room set-up exactly how we requested and had our music and PowerPoint playing when we arrived. It was so fun, decorating their beautiful space. Looking forward to hosting more events there in the future. Thanks again Kelly and Judy!”

“The Georgetown Centre is an absolutely phenomenal wedding and reception venue! Gabe and Karen were wonderful to work with and made the planning process smooth, seamless, and stress-free from start to finish. They offered multiple planning meetings as needed, which was incredibly helpful.
Additionally, we would like to highlight the size of the venue - Georgetown Centre is accommodating for guest lists big and small! The price point for the wedding/reception packages are reasonable and affordable, especially compared to similar venues.
Needless to say, our day was perfect! The venue staff were incredibly friendly and coordinated well with our other vendors. The venue was extremely clean and the food was delicious! The integrated bridal suite was an added bonus - the suite comes with a private bathroom and seating area. We utilized the bridal suite to eat dinner privately during cocktail hour, which allowed us to mingle with guests during dinner.
Overall, we would highly recommend the Georgetown Centre! We received many compliments from our friends and family about the food, atmosphere, and how beautiful the venue is. Thank you again to the Georgetown Centre team for making our dream a reality!”

“Amazing ballet performances and also watched a form of jazz dance. The theater is not too big nor is it too small. The audience members primarily are family and friends which makes the night there that more special. Highly recommend visiting and supporting the performers.”

“Repurposed upcycled building was previously an ice skating rink the Church owns and created Free COMMUNITY support space that has the open gym hours w various street signs designated stations w equipment for physical activities of Ball bin for grass carpet field area, Hoola Hoops, foam half-walled rectangle w shoeless climb on foam gym shapes, standing battery and flashing lights scooter, etc... for free play in a park share style indoors to let loose and be creative safe play under Personal Adult Supervision/participation to let kids/adults get out their energy or meet up for a play date w no expensive entry fees. CAFE remains as a casual safe space meet up for a coffee date to catch up view of gym space older kids play or New Date get to know if want a second date ! Didn't check menu items but family friendly and profits support the space being FREE to ALL inclusive teens want safe social hangout with amenities to be competitive, active and expell Stress w no pressures adults plus snacks available nonprofit supporting and Zero God pressures unless want to explore by talking to a Receptionist at the entrance lobby about that Jesus guy and what Impact Church is about.FREE COMMUNITY CENTER is a ? Gem if frugal like me.”

“Despite the bright panels on the outside, Irma Freeman Center for the Imagination is in many ways a blink-and-you'll-miss-it kind of place. Even after having been past it on foot several times, I often had fairly little idea what it was. My first impression was that it might be a community center for disabled or destitute youths, and therefore somewhere that serves a valuable cultural function but in which I have no place. I was very incorrect in this assumption, as I found out later. One day, while the doors were open, I walked in. I was treated to a private, minimalistic indie gallery featuring work by local artists. At the time, the exhibit focused principally on abandoned sites in the Pittsburgh area, with photographs giving an eerie portrait of the region's history. It was as though the photographers were archaeologists documenting recent times that have fallen into obscurity and ruin. This is of course not the only exhibit: Irma Freeman's collections, ever changing, deal with a number of different artists and themes. Gift shop at the front door and opening night receptions every First Friday of the month. Strongly recommend!”

“Absolutely gorgeous wedding venue with amazing staff! I had an art deco/gatsby themed wedding and this place was perfect! The space is a blank canvas for you to make your own! Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere unique with history to hold your event!”

“I neglected to read bag policy… ditched my Korean leather purse by a garbage can and found it after the show. If that doesn’t show how great Pittsburgh is, it should. The girl was doing her job and I respect her for that! READ BAG POLICIES PEOPLE! DONT risk it for the outfit! I got lucky! The venue is great, the people in the crowd rock, and quite frankly, I have never had a problem there! Also, you cannot deny the VIEWS that this venue has to offer! Accessible by trolley and walk to look at a beautiful stadium… will be back and will gladly support through and through!”

“We came to the S&S Memorial Hall and Museum for a wedding reception several weeks back. It was a great time and a lovely building full of history to explore during the reception. I want to shoutout Greg, who was very informative and kind enough to show us some of the Silence of the Lambs film history (my wife's favorite movie.) It was a small gesture that went above and beyond to make our visit there special. Wonderful time.”

“We happened to be walking by around lunchtime and decided to try the fish fry. We both got fried shrimp dinners, with pierogies, coleslaw, and haluski. Everything was great and the folks there are very accommodating (since we'd never been there before and we're confused!). And they take credit cards. The fried fish sandwiches looked good too. And large.The social hall had a lot of tables set up to dine in and a bar to sit at as well.”

“Cannot recommend A Party Place Rentals enough!!! Everyone I worked with extremely accommodating and helpful. I had to reschedule my return of rented tables to a later day, and everyone was extremely flexible and happy to work with my schedule. Such great staff - could not be more satisfied!! “Best experience I have had at a Country Club!! The staff did an amazing job from beginning to end!! I attended our niece’s Bridal Shower this past Saturday and was so impressed with the team at Shannopin Country Club!!! The service, Hospitality and food was absolutely fantastic!! Thank you to the staff for making our niece’s day so wonderful!!!”

“We had our wedding August 10, 2024 at the center with 143 guests in attendance. We worked with Debbie for nearly 2 years on planning the event, with every question answered and very quickly answered too!

Pros: We were able to decorate the venue as we wanted and were able to do all of our own florals! Amazing! We could decide if we wanted our ceremony to face the building or into the field, and most importantly we were able to figure out an intermission. Additionally, we were able to have the center the day before to decorate - which was a huge relief! There are 3 caterers available, but honestly you just need Remos!! As a PSA, you cannot hear the pool from the ceremony space, not even the slightest noise was present for our very emotional ceremony.

The cons: as another reviewer mentioned, there are so many nickel and dime fees ($300 to turn the string lights on, $10 for every cocktail table, $100 for the arch, ceremony fee, extra time fee, etc…) these should just be built into the cost of the venue and ended up racking our bill up. The biggest ticket item is the other rentals on the lot, we rented out the other facility in case of rain, but the other two were rented out to other occasions on our wedding day (hence why we turned the ceremony to face the building, which is not the norm). Debbie and the maintenance team did everything they could have to keep them quiet, but the other renters did come out and watch our ceremony from afar (but were very respectful). It’s just a heads up! The bartenders were good according to our guests, but missed a whole case of alcohol we had bought and brought in. We sent someone out to get more because we believed we had ran out, come to find out it was overlooked.

The reason for the loss of stars: we were told the security cameras were functional and where weddings normally put the card box. Unfortunately when we asked for footage the next day, we were made aware AFTER THE FACT, that the cameras were not functional on our event. We would’ve moved our gift table if we would have known ahead of time.

Overall, our guests and more importantly us, wouldn’t have picked a different venue for our big day. Debbie was a joy to work with and it made for an absolutely beautiful day. We will be recommending to everyone we see/meet. Thank you!”

“We absolutely loved this place! It had an old-school vibe, but all the right modern amenities, including being able to order food and drinks from our lane.

But what really made the night was Bowlero having an employee like Derek. Derek just made a great experience even better. Not only did Derek give great advice to our group of novices, we felt so welcomed and not judged for being a bit clueless... a perfect night out.”
