Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh offers clean and modern rooms in a central location, making it ideal for guests attending events at the nearby convention center. The hotel features original room decor, spacious accommodations, and a very clean bathroom, particularly in the shower area. Guests appreciate the friendly and professional staff, with special mentions for Alejandra and Tatiana for their helpfulness and kindness. The hotel has a charming atmosphere and provides a daily social hour, enhancing the guest experience.
While the window views may not be spectacular due to the crowded downtown setting, the hotel's proximity to downtown allows easy access to various restaurants and activities. However, guests note that dining and shopping options are limited in the immediate area, and suggest that a car is needed to explore the suburbs for more choices. The hotel’s restaurant is praised for its great food and drinks. Overall, guests find the rooms to be exactly as advertised online and express a desire to return for future stays, despite some minor suggestions for improvement regarding communication at check-in.
Beautiful venue for a function. The awards ceremony was beautiful in the gorgeous mini ballroom space. The outer lobby was perfect for a cocktail party.

Great time at the Kimpton. Great value.
Be sure to confirm your room's view if that's important to you though. Some sides do not have much of a view
