βI love Aldi. Fresh vegetables, fruit, good cheese variety, excellent hummus. Interesting European inspired products. And good prices. I've tried all the local supermarkets, and none is superior.β
βThere are so many options. I felt I walked into heaven. All of my favorites in one place. From gobs to that spectacular olive bar, this place was like stepping into my own little food paradise. Wish there was where I lived!!β
βNot that I mind younger workers because I donβt, but I do love to see such a large majority of older workers. I love the friendly employees, low prices, and unexpected in-store deals on top of their advertised sales.β
βConvenient little corner store if you need milk, soda, bread. Cut on demand lunch meats and cheeses as well as some fresh produce (tomatoes, onions ect.) just ask the friendly staff who are working what they have or what you need and they will kindly let you know. They have a variety of groceries that you donβt have to run all the way to the Dollar General for! They also carry soap, shampoo and other toiletries along with other household products.
I really donβt think Iβd survive without this little store in my neighborhood, and the fact that itβs only a few blocks from my house is even better!β
βThe manager there is one of the very best. He has been working for the company for 40 years and runs the store very well. Salute to the Giant Eagle brand for their loyalty to him and seeing they have a great person running the store.β

βHad a small chicken curry and a beef patty from the Tin Mackrille, both were very enjoyable. I was hoping for some very spicy food which I'm afraid to say it was not spicy. Nevertheless the portion was perfect and I was well satisfied with the food. The staff also gave me a sample of their Mango Pineapple Ginger drink. This was fantastic! I would stop there again just for that drink. Looking forward to going back to try their ox tail.β
βHands down the best Submarine Sandwiches in town. The Ham Salad sandwiches and subs have been a favorite of mine since as far back as I can remember. They used to have the original gobs and the sani-dairy iced tea I liked as well. Family oriented and made fresh sandwiches and subs, will have you craving for Kochs every time you pass by on your way in or out of town, via Route #56.β

βThis is my hometown dollar store so I spend quite a bit of time there I know the staff personally they are always very helpful and they're always located throughout the store so they're not hard to find if you have a question, it's a Dollar General so prices are reasonable it's one of the places I do most of my shopping atβ
βTheresa's a young lady there with red hair. An absolute pleasure. Makes me want to come back on her shift. She was so helpful and genuinely enthusiastic. Her energy was amazing!β

βOnly in East Conemaughβs Dollar General parking lot can you pull in, be jamming, and by jamming I mean, blasting the radio, singing along and dancing to Billy Idolβs Mony Mony and look over and see a guy fixing his car, but yet dancing in the parking lot along with you and your music!!!β
βThe salesperson who waited on me today at this dollar general in westmont is so awesome! Her name is Latasha. She was so friendly and I saw her going out of her way to help a customer find something in the store. I told her that it was a pleasure having such a pleasant person at the counter and I also told her that she is definitely a people person. I left the store with a smile on my face. Good job Latasha!!β
βThis is the new Dollar General for the Windber PA area has a lot more new items that they're selling now then before. Reasonable prices on the food. I'm glad that yhey sell a lot more diffetn food now . More meats and vegetables . The employees are very nice and working really hard to get all the merchandise put up for the customersβ
βThe good old dirty bird I worked here when I was 15 as a badger/stocker 23 years ago an it's pretty much the same lol in a pinch they are great but there pricey at timesβ
βSmells a little funky in there but they do have some good deals and random cool food finds. Also, the generic brand that they have makes a very good substitutes for a lot of things that you need.β
βIt's the only store in town. All the grocery stores closed years ago. I think they should let this store sell produce like they do in other communities that have no grocery stores.β
