“Favorite greenhouse for flowers. Great prices and the flowers we get always are great. Fresh strawberries are a bonus and family who own it are great. Great find in Stevens”
“Really great experience at Weaver Grocery Store in Reinholds. The staff here is genuinely very nice and helpful. I was looking for strawberry flavoring to make strawberry cookies and couldn’t find it anywhere, but someone noticed I needed help and went out of his way to check for me. He ended up recommending strawberry Hershey’s syrup instead, which I tried and it actually worked perfectly for what I needed. It’s small moments like that that make this place stand out. Definitely appreciate the service here and will be coming back.”
“For the Muslim community in the area, there's a great selection of Halal certified meats and poultry. There's ground beef, steaks, chicken and more that have a halal certification. Great find!”
“I enjoy Aldi for cheaper prices for many items. Their artisinal bread is beyond compare. We are typically in and out pretty quickly too. One time they had really delicious Sasquatch pizza, but we haven't found it again. It's only in my dreams now.”
“A small town grocery with all the essentials and more! Home baked goods and delicious made to order subs. Grab and go salads and desserts. Worth the time to stop.”
“Such an affordable, clean, and surprising store. From the outside it looks like just a warehouse but the inside has an open and inviting grocery store. I always head to the frozen meats to stock up my freezer, and the prices are unbeatable. All the cashiers are friendly and will have an actual conversation with you plus they often have stickers at checkout.”
“This store is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G AMAZING!! All of their fruits is natural which I really like. Also, it's like a quick a shop to buy fruits from! I really recommend this fruit store!”
“Nice store, if little on the pricey side. Worst speed bumps ever in their parking lot. You’re going to need your car’s alignment adjusted after you drive through.”
“There's always good buys at the Sharp shopper, but sometimes they get good stuff in that you want to go back and get some more and then it's not available because it was only available for a short time, which is understandable It is a grocery store, love this place You can't go wrong check it out.”
“03/04/24Sinking Spring Redner's! Second best to their Wyomissing Store. But because I reside nearby, I attend 6 days a week for my brunch, two bananas, two Greek yogurts, and a 2 liter Swiss Miss diet green tea. Total less than $5, better than fast food! If I cheat, I purchase a .99 cent peanut butter doughnut with a .94 cent French coffee. When I am hungry for protein, I absolutely love their fried chicken and rotisserie! Crunchy, Juicy, Flavorful & Hearty! 3 pieces for $3.98 and my favorite 12 pieces for $8.98, that I eat for brunch & dinner. Much better than KFC, slightly above Bojangles, but - below Popeyes. Redners could be more competitive if they offered at least one spicy, or even better, offer of small pods of barbeque, honey mustard and hot & spicy for complimentary, or .25 to .50 cents a piece. Also if your store had a microwave like your mini-markets, because you have so many refrigerated premade meals available. I wish you had a premade buffet like your Wyomissing store also, but - I do not know if it is logistically possible. Better than fast food, and cheaper than restaurants! This should be your new slogan, and I want credit. Smile! I told several of your employees, but - I never received an update. I also love that you are locally owned and operated and also part employee owned. Thank You. Eddie”
“Oregon dairy bakery!!! Your cakes are always delicious BUT PLEASE PLEASE improve the writing! These cakes are pricy but I’m willing to pay because they’re always delicious. But please the writing…Centralized and legible would be appreciated.”
“Affordable price to pick any apples you want, and at times other fruits or legumes, as available. You may even get to hear a little Pennsylvania Dutch if you listen carefully.”
“Gas prices are average/in line with the competition, but by earning points shopping at Giant, getting 20 or 30 cents off a gallon is usually the norm for me.......”
“This store has some hard to find items and so many things for natural healing. They also do foot detoxing. They have an organic foods and vegetables area in the back. There are organic coffee brands too. Plenty of off street parking and wheelchair accessible. Bulk items parsed out to smaller containers with reasonable pricing. Many herb both bottled and bulk. Staff are friendly too. Every different type of honey from different sources available here as well.”
“I really love this place! It has such a wide variety of merchandise. My husband hates grocery stores but he does like Lidl for their bakery, meat selection and most importantly...their selection of cheese. The shelves are always stocked with things that I need and things that I don't need ( but buy them anyway!) It's always bright and very clean which is very important. If the lines are getting long...they will call for another cashier. Prices are great and they even have house plants!”
“This is not a Big Box store more like a Coop. I Redner's is co-owned by employees so buying there you are also help in their employees. They carry both produce and dairy products and provide a special touch. They are the BEST.”
“You can find everything you need here. Prices are a little higher than Walmart, but the quality is worth it in my opinion. Their produce is really fresh and not on the verge of spoiling like some other markets in the area. They are one of the few places that still have a full meat and deli counter where you can get freshly sliced meats and cheeses.”
“Bev was great to work with today. Excellent customer service skills, very personable and helpful with what we needed. Checked out quickly and efficiently. She was very kind with other customers in front of me helping them out also.”
“I discovered this store driving the Amish here to shop. Found raw Jersey milk for the same price I buy it regular raw at other stores. Also tried their einkorn flour and I’m going back for the big bag. They also have raw cheddar cheese, which I love. Great place!”
“This is a great place to do your general grocery shopping. They have an expansive deli which also has dry ice. It may not always be in stock so if you need a bunch, call them before you go to see if they have it! Also, the price for the dry ice was very reasonable!”
“I can't get through to the pharmacy auto refill line. When i call, it just stops ringing after a while.... calling the main number listed on this page. This has been an issue for months.Edit:Giant followed up with a phone call and let me know that their service provider had some... difficultiesThat's been resolved and the phones shouldn't be an issue any more. Thanks Giant for the feedback!”
“This is a nice new Giant with a gas station in its parking lot. The gas is usually among the cheapest in the area and you can get points towards gas with your Giant card so it ends up being a great deal. Store is organized similar to other Giants in the area with a great selection of many products.”
“Wonderful local grocery store offering local specialties at good prices. Unfortunately for me this store is too far away for me to shop on a weekly basis. Small in size but big in value.”
“Tried your thick cut pumpkin bacon for the first time! Didn’t think I’d like it but it was on sale at local market. It was fabulous tasty and tender.I want more! Can’t find more.”
“I have been to many pharmacies in the area; Rite-aid and CVS and am now a loyal patron of this specific pharmacy. I can't say enough great things about the pharmacists here but they CARE! They are kind and always excellent customer service. They go above and beyond to help you get your prescriptions correct AND try to save you money as well. I actually feel like I am going to visit friends and family every month when I have to pick up prescriptions. Thanks pharmacy team for being the best you can possibly be!”
“Was very impressed by this gas stop. Not only did my Weis points get me a great deal, but they also had full windshield washing buckets. And they even had paper towels. And the squeegees were in good shape”
“Giants is my go to for food shopping! I love that they have an organic asile, alcohol area, Asian sushi and poke bowls area. Also they make the biggest delicious chocolate chip cookies ever you can find them in their bakery area. ?”
“They had 5lbs of habanero peppers. I took 4&1/2 pounds of them. I hope they can get more & bigger 1's. Or red habaneros and or ghost peppers ? or hotter please ?!!!!!”
“I would like to add to this Sierra’s persons comment I was there that day and that was not what happened the change was thrown at cashier and then when the grown man left the next lady in line was saying how rude and disrespectful that was and they were discussing it was not talked about with anyone else weird comment to lie about why take the time to write a lie is beyond me I love boyers close I can walk friendly staff alll of them”
“This Dollar general store has the most pleasant employees I have ever spoken with and they are polite to a point that is almost unheard of. Always happy to use this store.”
Walmart wants your groceries at the door before the ice cream softens. On May 29, the retailer said its 30-minute-or-less delivery had reached 33 U.S. markets, adding a wave of new cities across the Northeast. Shoppers in those areas can order from more than 100,000 items, everything from fresh produce and baby formula to pet food, electronics, cold medicine, and prescriptions. Behind the scenes, the service leans on Walmart's store network and an algorithm that factors in order size, available drivers, and distance from the store.
Trader Joe's keeps adding stores, and shoppers keep showing up. The California grocer has marked nine more locations as "opening soon," pushing its expansion into new corners of the country. The grocer also took first place in the American Customer Satisfaction Index's 2026 supermarket rankings. It has held a spot near the top of that list for years.
Target is rolling out its most ambitious store overhaul in more than ten years, with plans to remodel over 130 locations and open 30 new stores across the country this year. The retailer is also putting money into supply chain technology upgrades to keep pace with how shoppers buy today.
Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.
Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
