“Conveniently located on Rt 940. The Freeland Fuel Stop is a great place to grab a quick snack or fill up your gas tank. The staff at this location are truly the nicest people (especially the young guy that works most nights). Working with the public is not an easy task, but, you will never see that nightshift cashier frown. He is always extremely polite, happy, easy going and very professional!”

“*GREAT* YOU CAN GET MOST QUICK AND EASY EATS HERE. Smokes and such. The staff are kind and helpful and deserving of a good review from a certified, truly certified reviewer who takes this seriously. My job is to exalt businesses that are doing it right and treating people properly and to deter other people from stumbling into this narrow bad businesses.

Great job guys!!!”

“Great place. Always has what you need including snacks you can't get anywhere else, for a fair price. The guys that work there are great and will help you out if you need it. Customer service 10 out of 10.”

“Compared to the other gas station, this one has more affordable prices. There's a small shop inside with drinks and snacks. I don't drink alcohol, but those who do (or smoke cigarettes) should bring their ID.
The girls are very helpful.”

“They keep their gas prices in step with the other gas stations; more often than not their prices are better. They also have some limited grocery items inside and have a great pizza place on site.”

“Very nice station with friendly staff. The guy even helped me clean my car when the pump didn't turn off correctly so that it wouldn't hurt my paint. I have made this a regular stop for gas. Especially when I'm going grocery shopping it's very convenient.”

“These guys are the BEST! This is the only place I will ever get fuel on the mountain. The employees are super kind and friendly, they’re always happy to help and service is super quick. They let folks take their time with lottery tickets without holding up everyone else. They have the best nicotine prices on the mountain that I’ve seen as well. On top of all that, Citgo gasoline uses lesser detergents than other nearby gas stations. They have never had an issue with bad fuel like Weis or Turkey Hill over the past few years. This place is perfect and I really appreciate the staff.”

“Great location and excellent staff. Last winter I stopped by to pick up salt (which everyone in the area ran out of). Their employees did not hesitate to help me load up the car with the bags I purchased and I had my kids in tow. Also - fastest gas pumps in the area. I will go out of my way to fill up my car here!”

“In response to the owner, I have never had an issue during the day at this turkey hill, but usually when I come at night the employees are sitting over at the tables by the windows. Last night my husband and I stood at the register waiting to get checked out and they just sat over at the tables laughing and talking so we left. That's the only reason I gave a 4 star instead of 5”

“Had a great experience at this Giant location, which was a bit surprising given the poor reviews. My mother and I needed a few small items and found everything we needed. The store was clean and well-stocked. With over half of the residents of Hazleton being Hispanic, Giant is smart to have many diverse goods sold here, from Eastern European to Asian Pacific Islander to Italian and Dominican, and more. I love the coming together of ethnicities in the city and businesses embracing the beautiful cultures comprising Hazleton. Our cashier, Joel, was friendly, helpful, and professional. We were most impressed with the produce department, which was maintained well with fresh items and plentiful choices. The bulk bags of collard greens looked good and were fairly priced. Both regular and organic bananas ranged from green to yellow, giving shopers a pick of desired ripeness. Different price points for items existed in most departments. The liquor store within the store had its own cashier, and there were many options. It was really helpful seeing some of the wine and other liquors tagged with a note stating the item would soon be gone. One of our purchases was in the snack foods department, where we selected a bag of store brand kettle cooked potato chips. They were only $2.09, a good deal in today's inflationary climate. It is worthwhile to have a Giant Rewards card because small savings add up to more significant savings. You lost one star for the parking lot. It's dirty with trash, and people drive across parking spaces at high, erratic speeds. Recommend you request law enforcement support outside your business. There are frequent walkers, too, and they should not risk their lives to irresponsible drivers. If you are open at this location beyond 6-11 am for 7 days a week, please update the hours on Yelp. Also, someone in senior management needs to claim this business. Otherwise, it gives the impression that management doesn't care what customers think about the store.Thank you for a good experience!”

“Its my local gas station so I may be biased, but its great. Its a small town but the workers get to know everyone and make personal connections, very friendly and great attitudes overall. Lovely!”

“I like the cleanliness of the store however i think they should have more stock of certain items. the girl with the curly hair was really helpful with helping me find my drink at the cooler today and honestly as much as it is a bad street its a nice turkey hill, would probably come back 😄”

“I got gas and played the PA lottery. The store got a little busy. They sell alcohol in there and have fountain slushy. Your basic items. They sell pipes and attachments for vaps.”

“There's a gas station attendant that fills your car up with gas, a decent sized repair shop that does excellent work (speaking from experience) and the owner is a very nice man very down to earth.”

“Friendly staff, store itself is a little on the tight side. Only one bathroom and could be bigger (shared by all). So if you need to go and depending on how busy they are expect to stand in line. The bathroom is the only issue there. But nice place and right off the interstate.”

“Turkey Hill ratings for me are made by the associates who are working at the time, everything else is similar throughout the T.H. chain. Ratings fluctuate between associates I've encountered”

“Great customer service. The two ladies operating the place, were very respectful asked if we needed help finding anything, held general conversation etc. The place was clean! We ordered from the food menu my wife ordered the chicken tenders and a loaded fries. Tenders were great the loaded fries not so much but that's to be expected from a convenience place any ways. I have this thing about having to try the cheese steak anywhere it's offered and even tho the meat was the general thin sliced stuff you can get just about anywhere it was actually a decent meal and wasn't disappointed. If your looking for a remote, small town, quiet, off the grid spot this is the place to be. Been to many worse locations with worse staff by far. This place is great.”
