“We love having Brandywine Ace so nearby. They have a great variety of tools, plants, decor, and even baby chicks and kittens to adopt. My kids love going there for the toy section, too. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend!”

“Was a little nervous heading into Delaware County Supply as a female DIYer and not a contractor. No employees approached me in the store or the yard but I headed to the customer service counter and was pointed in the right direction. One of the lumber yard employees helped me find and price options for my project. Everyone was kind and helpful. I’ve been back a couple times to pick up additional supplies and the staff has even remembered me and asked how everything going. It’s great to have this store as an option other than just the big box stores!”

“This is an extraordinary place! Their hardware is well-made and looks great, and service is even better. The previous owner of our house had taken the bolt out of the rim lock on the front door, and two locksmiths passed on fixing it. When we took the lock off the door and went to Ball and Ball (on the advice of a restoration specialist), it turned out they knew exactly how to fix it which they did very promptly. Every aspect of our interaction with them was pleasant and their interventions effective with reasonable pricing.”
“Kept quietly behind the fence near the the liberty is a hardware store with many great prices. I went here to get a set of keys made and they was cheap and fast. But most importantly got it right the first time. If you want to support local businesses in Chester and want a fast quality product, these are your go to guys.”

“This place is great. I admit I often go to Home Depot for plumbing parts because it's closer, but when they don't have what I need, or what they do have is junk, I go to Grove Supply. I'm always surprised that the price is about the same. The parts are always better, and you can often get some advice while you're there. Grove even delivers for a very reasonable price. I wish it was closer to Media, PA.”

“Michelle helped me find a part which I cannot find anywhere else because it’s for a really old hydrant and the part is probably out of production. She helped me order it from the other Ferguson branch. Although it took a few days for the part to be delivered to West Chester, it’s worth the wait because the part fits my outdoor hydrant perfectly. This is a good store.”
“Good evening Family. I visited today to ask a question about a weed wacker for the front yard. I needed a plug for it and I couldn't find it in the house. Customer service called for assistance and the associate came and helped me with my issue. It turns out that all I needed was an extension card and I have one at home. I am so happy that I did not have to spend any money. I will return home with the weed wacker and see if the extension cord fits. It turns out that it does and I am so happy about that. I had a good experience here. Have a good night, workout, be active and mobile, fit and fabulous especially for people over the age of 50 years.”

“This week I visited the Home Depot in Wilmington to purchase a few items for a client project project that live close by After realizing that some of the materials I bought were too short, I returned to exchange them. Unfortunately, my experience at the customer service desk with Angela was one of the worst I've ever had at a Home Depot. She was very rude, unprofessional, and made me feel as though she had a personal issue with me during what should have been a simple return transaction.
Thankfully, the manager, Christi, stepped in to assist. The difference in professionalism was immediately noticeable. Christi was respectful, patient, and took the time to listen while I explained the situation. Even while I was speaking with Christi, Angela continued talking from the back, interrupting and making inappropriate comments. Christi had to ask her to stop because it was disrespectful and unprofessional.
Christi handled the situation with excellent customer service and completely changed what could have been a terrible experience. Because of her professionalism and willingness to help, I decided to leave a 5-star review. Otherwise, my experience with Angela alone would have deserved only 1 star. Thank you, Christi, for representing the level of customer service customers should expect from Home Depot.”

“The best thing they have going for them is that they're not Lowe's. The customer service people at Lowe's are very very rude. However, the customer service of people at home Depot seemed to be non-existent. But when compared to very very rude I'll take it. I'd rather not be talked down to due to not being talked to at all.”
