“I was shocked to find this hardware store “inside” the Giant Eagle grocery store! If you weren’t from the area and didn’t know any better, it would be very understandable that you drove past it because there’s only 1 sign that is visible to tell people it’s there and it’s not in the best location!”
“Great experience dealing with Matt at the Allison Park, PA store who worked with me in numerous conversations with a somewhat unique situation with buying a washer that had to be ordered, in coordination with buying a stack kit and then timing the delivery. The installers were awesome (sorry forget their names) with communication, delivery and stacking of the units.”

“While the front end of the store appears to be very similar to any other hardware store, the real gem to this store is their tools and repair department. I was able to get my push mower serviced there, when other places told me that they don't work on brands they don't currently sell. The guys who service and sell power tools are super great to work with. As a recently widowed woman, my spouse was the power tool expert of the family. Robert in the service dept has been very helpful, explaining things to me, answering any questions I have, and offering advice. I highly recommend this business for hardware and tools. Their service is top notch!”

“Review from 7/1/26: I visited today after many years. I broke the glass on a large picture frame in my South Side office. I had called ahead to confirm they would cut the glass. Just as in the 2013 review below, these folks were very friendly, knowledgeable. I bought HEET for my car while there. Haha. Reminds me of a smaller Rollier’s in Mt. Lebanon. They removed the broken glass, cut, cleaned and installed the new glass while I waited. Took less than 10 minutes. The cost? $17.99. I was so happy to see Miller’s still provides excellent service. Thanks for still being here!

These folks have survived for 100+ years and are obviously doing something right. Since moving into the neighborhood, I have bugged them many times with how-to questions, even though I wasn't making huge purchases. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. The person at the register always greets customers with a smile and directs you to the proper place.”

“A little tight backing in to dock from street but not that bad with a 48ft spread axle plus I can dump the air out of my rear axle for tighter turning radius. Whse guys are really nice and efficient. The lady who runs the place is really nice also. All and all nice & friendly people to deliver too.”

“Cool place to shop for a DIY project, remodeling, or just need some cheap construction supplies. Everything is pretty well organized into sections.
They offer a lot of different items like lumber, tiles, tools, furniture, light fixtures, windows, etc. There is also a section called 'The Attic' which includes more household items. Such as clothing, glassware, books, movies, decor, etc. I ended up getting a nice bedside table and a pretty antique style stained glass light fixture.”
“After striking out with two suppliers near me (south hills) I called, talked to a very knowledgeable lady, who confirmed they had the type of vinyl soffet I needed. Easy to find, very nice folks to deal with, reasonaly priced, loaded me up and helped secure my load.”
“On March 7, 2023, I visited my local Busy Beaver store in Castle Shannon. I should say here that I have never had a bad experience in this store. The representatives have always been helpful, friendly, and professional.On March 7, my cashier was Meegan and she asked if I would need help loading the 4 bags of potting soil I bought on sale. I said, "No, I'd be fine," thanked her and left. When I backed up my car to the stack of potting soil, there was Meegan standing there waving at me. She joked, "I don't listen well" and helped me load the bags in the car. “I’m so glad this place exists! Prices are reasonable. Lots of stuff. When I had a horrible sewage leak, I was quoted $1500 for a clean up fee. I went here instead and spent $250 on supplies to clean it myself! And the best part is, they have plenty of dog toys so I can bring my dog something nice when I go!
Staff is always super kind and helpful. I’m so glad this place is so close to where I live because they have everything you’d need for any time of home repairs/ issues at a reasonable price.

“I ran into several delivery problems with my order. First, my billing and delivery addresses are in different states. My order, unfortunately, was delivered to the wrong address. Easy, but unfortunate mistake. Equiparts immediately shipped a duplicate to my shipping address at no charge. Then, of course, I had one digit wrong in my delivery address so UPS hasn't delivered. I contacted Equiparts who responded immediately and updated the address with UPS. Hopefully, it will show up. But, whether it does or not Equiparts deserves a 5-star review for efficient, professional, and polite customer service.”

“I recently have redone two bathrooms in my home and purchased all my hardware, etc. from Splash. Their products are wonderful! I had a fabulous experience working with Michelle in the past, and most recently with Amanda at the Glenshaw location. Amanda is extremely knowledgable, kind and great with customer's. As we know, a new bathroom takes alot of time. Each time I met with Amanda, she had an updated packet ready that included comparable products if something was not available and samples displayed on her desk.
