“Food Lion Rocks!!! The staff at the Deli are Wonderful ?. Robin (my neighbor) works there. She is so Friendly and always asks if I found everything OK. She is my neighbor, but we never see each other at home. I only see her at Food Lion. She is Wonderful ?. And last, Zachary (MGR), is Outstanding. He has been there for years. Every time I see him he so Friendly and Greets everyone with a Smile ?. I have been going to Food Lion for 13 years now. I believe Zachary (Zach), has been there as long. He makes Food Lion a Great Place to shop. Everything is so well kept. Wide isles, Friendly Staff, Food is always Fresh.Thank You Food LionYou Rock??Mitchell Kaehler”

“Most of my experience here has been good. They've had issues with my son's service dog. Also, they closed (locked entry door) 5 minutes before closing time.”
“They seem to be as cheap as Giant which means it's a bit more expensive than Walmart in some things and cheaper than Walmart in other things. Though if I were closer to here than Walmart, I'd go here if I were walking. If I was closer to a Weis than here, but closer to here than Giant and Walmart, I'd still go to Grocery Outlet because weis is way too expensive. Never had much interaction with the staff here, but things were relatively clean which is a definite plus.”

“I love the selection of food you can find here! If you're on a special diet that excludes ingredients (gluten, dairy, peanuts, etc) they have special isles for those types of issues! I also like a clean store to shop in and this location is clean!”

My only criticism is how your store is collecting plastic bags to recycle.
It's disorganized.
You got people throwing trash, ?️ etc.
In with the plastic bags.
You can't mix the recycling.
Plastic bags should go into one or two marked containers.
Trash, garbage should be put into a trash can.
Aluminum cans, or plastic bottles can be recycled into their own containers.
Your Giant store in Dillsburg does it right.
Wegmans and Weis does it correctly.
Your customers do notice.
Many people take recycling seriously.

Update: Recent visit was excellent. I used a scooter because of a health issue and an associate saw I was in a long checkout line so he directed me to a self checkout and personally checked me out by himself. Made my day! Above my expectations. Great service!”
“Stopped today for the first time since the takeover.. it was a breath of fresh air...everything looked very nicely displayed...fresh, plentiful. The employees were very helpful. No complaints from me! I don't buy premade food or lunchmeat ... so i dont pay attention. I did notice they got cart corrals!!! Everything was good in my book!!”

“Ordered some black Friday items, and could not come to get them during the pick up time established. I called the store and ask them if they could hold them, which they did. When I came to pick them up the person that answered the phone was polite and was able to answer my questions, and the person that brought the order to the car was happy and smiling and Baby it was cold outside! I have used their curbside delivery quite frequently, and have never been disappointed!”
“Nice presentation, excellent selection, large produce section. They have several food bars, an olive section, wide selection in the Deli, prepared food and meals. I find the bulk bacon is as close to homemade as I have found and has a good price on it. Good Bakery. Get a Club Card for additional savings and BOGO deals.The store is always clean and the employees are friendly and helpful. What more could you ask for?”
“I just left the store having to go get something for emergency job at a job and typically just about any Dollar Store I go to these days is kind of a mess which I understand lack of help as a business owner. But I really need to get the store a shout out because not only was literally every single thing in the store stocked it was stocked beautifully and in order, employees were very easy to find for help which is normally a joke at the others. And best of all this store was spotless clean! All three employees present for their shift we're extremely helpful and pleasant and did not pass me without smiling- telling me have a good day leaving! Bravo dollar store employees for an outstanding easy to shop store and phenomenal customer service!”
“Awesome Wal-Mart! Great friendly congenial kind people, fast service and always helpful. Help for handicapped. People to help you load your car and even help with your shopping. The employees go above and beyond their duties at this store to help and look out for you. Last week my elderly friend got very sick and went out to the car and the young man "Austin" stayed with her and helped her as she was throwing up and a CSM hunted me down in the store to tell me my friend had a problem. I checked out and left. I accidently stepped into the vomit on the ground by the car trying to get into the car to unlock it while the alarm was going off because my friend misplaced the key and was confused and to sick to help look for the key so "Austin" stayed and helped me and we found the key. He then on his on came over because I was in a wheelchair cart due to limited walking, he then cleaned the bottom of my shoe and the cart where my foot touched. That's above and beyond. I then gave him a trash bag and a hand sanitizer from my purse to use. I took my friend to the ER and she had an A-Fib episode with a little fever and a bladder infection. Also a left bundle block in the heart. She's 79 years old and my husband, myself and my family try to help her as much as we can. Also, a man who's name is Austin and another one named Brian always helps me get my cat food when needed and goes out of his way to help or, another employee if he's not there. Ben is a greater at the door also helps me and lots of other people too. He makes sure to get me a wheelchair cart due to my disability. Best Wal-Mart I've been in. Clean too! This is the South Hanover, Pa store. Also, Carrie who works in HBA goes out of her way for everyone to help them find what they need and to just be congenial with the customers but is extremely busy the whole time. She is very professional and does an awesome job with HBA and dealing with people. She went out of her way one time to help my friend straighten out a problem back in the dairy section she went back there and helped her get it straightened out. My review can go on and on about the store because I can mention so many people like the young man named Ben who helped me find my car keys one time and others but I don't know all their names, they just go out of their way to help. So many wonderful employee's make up this store. Top notch Kaitlyn, Tracey, Stephanie, Rachael, Mike, Ananda, Katie and the list goes on and on. I've NEVER seen this kind of service anywhere! Great job South Hanover Walmart!”

“Never had an issue. Though as a local, they see me often and have come to know me. Very polite people in my experience, and just don't tolerate people who want to take ages to do simple matters. Also, they're not local, so their mannerisms seem curt and perfunctory but in reality aren't meant on any way. I've had days where they seemed utterly miserable, yet they'd allow me to forget about a dollar here or there. More akin to a "mom and pop" store than the faceless corpo trash places you find normally. A little patience and politeness goes a long way with this store.”

They don't have as many deals as they used to but I also understand the economic climate hits small time businesses even harder than most. Still like to stop in from time to time for meat as I'd rather pay a little more and support small business if I can.”
