“I have been going to Beccari’s since I was little. Petey never fails to have amazing fruit and veggies. And you can not purchase fresher or more delicious pies anywhere else. I’m partial to the fruits of the farm, but his apple pie is perfect for fall. On top of buying food to eat, we love to buy pumpkins and mums to decorate our porch for fall! I highly recommend! It is so nice to be able to support a small local business!”

“I love this place. We don’t do our normal shopping here only bc it’s small and maybe a little more expensive than the big boys. But that’s understandable. It’s however an amazing source of joy. Always super clean yet retro feel.Need something quickly or something driving home. It’s perfect. Super quick in and out and always have what you need. An amazing selection for its size.Well staffed and the service is fine not friendly but serviceable for sure. Parking is ridiculously large and a breeze.Walkable from almost anywhere. “This is the biggest grocery store I’ve ever seen, as big or bigger than Walmart superstores. Aside from its vast aisles, it has an ATM, flowers, prepared foods, all kinds of alcohol, and plenty of parking. I think it’s also got pharmacy type products. “Fresh Thyme is great, and offered me a full refund, BUT they cannot remove product from their shelves, so WARNING: DISGUSTING BEEF/CALF LIVER - GOLDEN FOREST brand does not care what they package. Liver is supposed to be solid, and the deepest dark red, almost brown. This liver is all fat, mostly light pink, crumbly, and smells like diabetes sores (seriously). The frozen pieces mislead, appearing as packaged to be individual slices, but defrosted, end up as multiple small, fragile bits that have been stamp-formed. Also, you have to defrost the WHOLE package. See comparison to Skylark Individually Packaged Calf Liver if Reviews allows me to post a photo. Normally, if you look up reputable brands, you can find them online. This? I can't even find an address for Golden Forest, so...Who is the new buyer for Fresh Thyme? Must be someone new because this is not the quality I'm used to driving miles out of my way for. Add recent other disappointments with citrus and greens, and it's feeling like some slippage is happening. Hello? Corporate? I adore my Fresh Thyme. Maybe some quality training is in order? Some of us depend on you for the healthy foods we use in hopes to stave off health concerns. Bad when I can find better quality at Walmart. But I rely on Fresh Thyme for so much, I don't want to see the chain slide downhill. It's vital that we shoppers see the quality in everything the way we had been used to with you, because it makes it easier to trust that if we buy a vitamin or a supplement there, we don't have to research every new company -- the people were on the ball. Supplement purchase is overwhelming enough, a major reason I drive farther and pay hundreds out of pocket to shop at Fresh Thyme, is because, I have felt I could trust you. Please double-check what you're sending to your stores. Thanks!”

“You'd never actually know how cool this place was until you go inside and take a look around. It's located in an industrial park area right by the Market District in Robinson. This bakehouse provides bread for the restaurant "Mediterra Cafe" in Sewickley which is quite the place to be as well! They also provide bread all over Pennsylvania, to many different places, even all the way down to Florida!When you first walk in, to the right as you can see in my pics, there is a selection of fresh small bread snacks you can buy, and a wall where they provide bread to buy along with pick up orders. My friends Nick & Andy work at this location. They both work in the back making the bread and speak so highly of this company. Both of them are real stand up guys! I met their manager as well; he was kind and professional and seemed to be running things very smoothly! Nick gave me a little tour of the bake house. How cool it was! He explained to me the process of each type of bread and how things function. I learned that the marking on the bread is called "scoring" ! Everyone was working together so nicely & seemed to be having a great time.Funny to say, all the bread looked so pretty! I wanted to try it all. The back of the bakehouse has tons of ovens and several different types of breads being made at once. The ceilings are so high, which you'd never tell by looking at the front outside of the building. I'm sure the high ceilings help with the warmth because it was warm back there. There's even a pastry room and rooms filled with ready to go bread to be shipped out. I was impressed! They do a lot of hard work back there to produce such amazing tasting bread. Props to them! My aunt and I bought some rosemary olive oil bread, scones, biscottis and a couple of muffins. They are DELICIOUS! You can tell this company treats eachother like family and has a great connection. Everyone I came in contact with whether it was in the front or the back was super nice & friendly. Everything was clean and organized which I'm sure isn't easy to keep up with in a bakehouse filled with yeast and flour everywhere ;) I would recommend this bakehouse to anyone looking for AMAZING BREAD and reliable business. Go check it out for yourself!”
