“Every time I come to this dollar general I'm in heaven lol because there's so much more stuff to look at and buy than the other dollar general's in the area it seems like it is the biggest and the staff members seem to know how to order things so that it seems like they don't ever run out of something and 9 time's out of 10 if something isn't on the shelf then sometimes they have extra items in the back I also like this store better because everyone that works there seems so friendly and is always willing to help out a customer without any attitude or sly remarks under there breath and they don't have a mean mug on there faces lol like the other dollar general's around here”

“I'll preface this with saying that I've only been to J&J's for breakfast, so this review doesn't include lunch or dinner. BUT I've been here well over 10 times just for that! What started out as a special has THANKFULLY stayed on the menu and is the whole reason behind this review. The Hot Honey Buffalo Crab Benedict. Yes. You read that read. Hot honey buffalo sauce. Lump crab meat. Eggs Benedict. I CRAVE this meal. I'm drooling just thinking it about it, it's REALLY that good. After the first time I've had it I've never gotten anything else. Slowly it has turned into everyone we go with regularly getting the same thing. It's hot. It's sweet. It's soooo good. The best eggs Benedict I've had in Pittsburgh BY FAR. I've tried the crab Benedict options at both the Dorstop in Dormont and Kelly O's in the Strip. It doesn't even come close. Stop by at J & J's for the hot honey buffalo crab Benedict. You will NOT be disappointed!”

“I very rarely have ever shopped at this Giant Eagle despite living 1/4 of a mile away. What will change that for me is a gentleman named Richard who dropped everything he was busy with to quickly help me troubleshoot my car so that I could get home to my wife and kids after a very stressful week. I very rarely experience such phenomenal customer service. Richard treated me like a neighbor and that is reason enough for me to spend my money at this location. If Richard doesn't receive some kind of recognition for his kindness - I'll continuously bother corporate until he does. He went above and beyond what his position entails all to help somebody in the community. It might sound like something small, but today it certainly wasn't.”

“I have been shopping with this grocery store for over 10 years & I am really thankful & impressed that the produce area features a wide variety of vegan options, soy free foods & organic selections. I usually have to have drive out of the Mon Valley area almost 40 minutes for vegan options. I really appreciate you stocking your shelves with more vegan options & keeping more cruelty free foods in your inventory”

“I was just in there and the staff are so nice. The fact that they are understaffed is a corporate issue! It is not the cashiers, shelve stocker or any of the other people that work there’s fault. They are doing great and I WILL ABSOLUTELY BE BACK!”
