“For a seemingly small hardware store in a small town, this store has had just about everything I needed to work on my house and other projects, projects that often use more specialized hardware (like gun screws, sleeve bearings, etc).It's not a Lowe's or Home Depot, partly because they obviously don't have the real estate to stock everything big box hardware stores have, but also partly because the employees are incredibly friendly and helpful.They recognize faces, they make conversation, and they actually interact with their customers and know their store.I also want to comment on the pricing. You would think that a smaller store wouldn't be able to compete in pricing with the big box stores, but everything I've bought so far has been either on par or maybe slightly more expensive (nothing to complain about).This store has become my first stop, not my last option, in home repair and general hardware needs.”

“I drive out there from Braddock/East Pgh. Prices are reasonable. True building supply yard. Staff always goes above and beyond to help w/ material specs and loading. They can even accommodate if using an atypical vehicle to load sand (5) buckets for smaller jobs.”

The 2020/2021 COVID supply/delivery issues were frustrating enough, but her patience and following up on materials as well as the overall progression of my project is unsurpassed. “They staff was very helpful, and even educated me on some things. I asked questions they was very helpful and understanding. I went to grab some peeps. And I'm a first timer at chickens. The one gentleman that got them out for me even caught the ones my husband was laughing at and wanting to get cause they was escapees lol ? and the one women who worked there knew alot about chickens and the store in general. I enjoyed our trip there and think that's where we will be doing our shopping for our outdoor stuff because they was very helpful and made it worth the hurt my husband's pockets are taken over the chickens ??♀️ and building them everything. Also everyone was super friendly even the lady who checked us out . I can honestly say I haven't been any place where it seemed like people enjoyed their job or atleast was semi happy to be there and help in awhile . So good job to the afternoon shift that day.”

“Do you want to know what's great about this hardware store? It's right inside the Giant Eagle on route 30. They have everything that a regular hardware store has. It's so convenient. Grocery shop and get your hardware needs. It's unbelievable easy.”

“If I need an odd or end, this community hardware store has everything my house needs because they know the builders and have the name brands our builders used for a lot of what we need. If you want a drill, or something higher end I would recommend going to Home Depot, but for the odds and ends in your life it's the best spot! Plus, they give a 10% off military discount which makes it easier on your wallet and saves you some gas to drive to another hardware store!”

“Well lit, fast checkout and staff that is ready to help. There is so much stuff that makes sense for the price. Let's pretend the word "freight" is in the name. Now judge the store. It is doing extremely well for what it advertises and most garages in greensburg have some of that stuff. The stuff used occasionally to often is from this store. Many hate on it and I'd be 1 but there is value in the cheap stuff used less often like a mallet, sandpaper, a wire brush, magnet tray .... not detrimental but necessary at less than snap-on or mack prices but maybe faster to get to than a hike through walmart.”

“Yes I do but not happy, I need a 44-gallon rubber trash can, there was about 10-cans on the shelf but there are no lids to go with the cans , I asked for service about why there is no lids , could not get a answer.”

“They have alot more than i imagined and much bigger than i thought. The things they carry is actually remarkable for hand tools and gardening when i was looking for mini utility blades they were the only place in town. Super nich stuff but i have yet to need a ton from there. They have people willing to help and lots of plants available outside this time of year.”

“My wife bought a desk here. Unfortunately it was broken. We decided to return it because it wasn't functional as we had to put it together. I was worried about not being able to return it. I looked at the website and it said we could. We got to the store 30 minutes before they closed, and they helped us get it out of the car and gave us a full refund. Suffices to say don't worry about them giving you an attitude or the rundown here. They are all very helpful and super appreciative of their customers. From lighting fixtures, kitchen, bathroom, doors, flooring, paint, lawn and garden, building supplies, tractors and lawn mowers, etc. Wonderful staff to help navigate the wide selection. Plenty of parking and easy access from the highway.”

Accessed via Rt 119N or S 4th Street Extension, this big-little hardware store houses an impressive array of items ranging from kitchen supplies and live plants to plumbing and electrical supplies to power tools and lumber to mulch and trash cans. They appear to have it all in a relatively small plot of land. In addition to the impressive array of supplies, they offer friendly service, ample parking, and reasonable prices.”
