“My wife and I have been doing our banking at Washington Financial for close to 40 years now. We have used all the branches and it's always been an enjoyable experience. Today I wanted to give a shout out to the ladies and gentlemen I interacted with earlier today at the Canonsburg branch. Every single person is polite, kind, patient and will answer all questions or concerns. I was talking to their bank manager today (Amy I think) and let her know that the staff there are amazing. Washington Financial Banks and employees have done right by us and I just wanted to say thank you for 40 years of wonderful service!

But this branch has proven friendly, professional and always willing to lend a helpful hand. They quickly upgraded my accounts to higher earning products upon recognizing that my accounts were all tied to discontinued products, which for 15 years had been earning next to no interest. No one at my previous branch had ever brought that to my attention.”

“I have been a Dollar Bank customer at the Moon Twp Branch for over 20 years. Two months ago, one of my 6-month CDs expired; I was traveling and did not respond to the notice to renew the CD within the specified time. As a result, the CD renewed at a 1% APR. As it was my fault in not responding, I planned to wait out the 6 months and get a better rate then.
I was at the Moon Branch today and mentioned this (in passing) to the teller (Joseph), who was helping me with some other business. Joe took it upon himself to talk to the Branch Manager, who said that it could not be handled at the branch level as the CD had been opened online. Joe took my phone number and promised to call management to see if he could do anything to help me with this; this was unexpected, as I did not ask for any help. Joe called me back, and Dollar Bank agreed to increase my rate to 3% (a good rate) and to backdate the 3% to the renewal date! Totally unexpected and fantastic!
