“We live in Philadelphia and have begun picking up our raw milk from FDR Park, as The Family Cow does pick up orders all across PA. My family loves it!!! The milk is always fresh and delicious and we're grateful that they bring orders every week so we can have farm fresh milk always available in our fridge. The pricing is fair and the interactions with the farmers/workers have been pleasent. Austin has been our delivery/pick up order gentleman and has done a wonderful job! My husband enjoys their interactions and appreciates Austin's kind character and ability to answer questions. We're so grateful to have farm fresh milk living in the city, and do plan to continue supporting The Family Cow, in hopes that they are able to continue this business!”

“Went in for the Appleton maple thick cut bacon as well as the Seltzer sweet Lebanon Bologna, but very disappointed that you don't have that as it's very available at local stores around Chambersburg. One of your employees actually told me it was a seasonal item, when I've been buying it at Aldi for a long time, so I just bought it elsewhere.”

“Immediate big fan of Wadel's Dairy after we recently stayed at their on-property airbnb. We had amazing garlic cheddar, made elote with local corn and brought cookies to pair with their milk. 5/5 for everything. Only disappointed we didn't stock up on additional garlic cheddar to bring home. Wadel's will certainly be a must-visit for us on future visits to Gettysburg.”
“May 2026 Update: Rainy day Memorial weekend Saturday has the store very busy. Some prices are the same, if not more, than the main stream grocery store.
Know your prices and check your dates. I find some deals.
I don't eat processed food and there tends to be a lot of that.
Kitty litter still a good price. Made in Canada.
May 2025 Update: Too much candy/sweets. Not as much healthy choices. Only good deal: Practical Kitty Litter from Canada: $8.49+ tax. At least their credit card machine is now TAP.

Only great deal on 2/26/25 was .25 cents for organic gummy vitamins that go for $10 at Giant.
Can find some good deals, but the other BB's Grocery Outlet locations have even better, more consistent bargains. Can get very busy.
2022 Update: I do not eat processed food and the majority of the products available are prepackaged goods. Produce section prices have gone up. Need to read labels & dates. Saturdays get very busy. They accept EBT & credit cards.

“Chambersburg's version of a bodega-(kinda)!! It's a convenient little store that has your necessities. Milk, soda, bread, snacks, cigarettes. If you roll your own cigs, they carry small and large bags of pipe tobacco and tubes. The prices are similar to Puff-n-Snuff's. They have a display case that is stocked with different types of "smoking" pipes and accessories. The lady that runs the counter is very nice. They accept EBT, debit, credit, and cash. Parking can be a little tough at times, It's located on Main Street at the corner of Queen Street. (L.W.E.)”

“Brandon the pharmacist went above and beyond for me. I need a certain medication and it wasn’t available in the strength I needed. He suggested a stronger strength and cut the tablet in half. May seem easy but it was finding trouble with doctors to understand what was needed. He took it upon himself to call the doctor to get the right script was sent. It was and it all worked out for the better. Customer service at its best. Do not let him go in this area.”

Regular prices are comparable to other grocery stores. Plenty of parking. They have a hot, ready to eat counter in the back by the deli. Several tables if you want to eat there. Has public restrooms.”
“Overall renovations are good. Still in progress. Only complaint is with the doors on refrigerated sections. If you open just one door, you have to open the other door to make them close properly. If they were installed to help reduce cost, having one door slightly ajar doesn't help that mission.”
“Giant perks are great, was able to save $1.20 per gallon after just a few weeks grocery shopping. These pumps usually aren't very busy either which is nice. Great gas station stop!”
“Better than wally world, but not Aldi's. My major complaint is at checkout. Normally only 1 full checkout is open until 8-9pm, then only self service. I'm not going through self checkout, I don't work here and I'm not paid to check myself out! Open a damn register, Giant!!”
“They usually have what I need and great place to shop if I can’t make it to larger stores like Walmart.
Employees are generally helpful and friendly. The store could definitely be cleaner but overall fairly well organized. I would be happy if they would bring back self checkout but right now they do not offer that.”

“This is my go to DG location. I never have bad customer service here and everyone is really friendly and almost overly helpful.
The only bad thing is the camp across the street sometimes clears them out of a lot of things, that’s not really their fault.
Very convenient location as well, everything else is quite a distance away.”
