“I just got married September 2026, and Anila helped put together the dress of my dreams! From the moment I stepped into her shop, she made me and my mother feel very welcome, very taken care of, and very heard. She handed us a bottle of water and sat us down to talk about not just the dress but the wedding in general and to get to know us as people which I thought was very kind and professional.

She takes incredible, sincere, pride in her work, and you could see that through everything she did. Anila is not just a seamstress or someone who performs alterations, she is truly a dressmaker and makes clothes and dresses from scratch, so a lot of mothers of the bride come here for a custom dress. She’s also a mother of two beautiful daughters and has gone through the wedding planning process herself, so has firsthand experience knowing what you are going through as a bride and as a mother of the bride.

I had bought a wedding dress without a lining, not knowing what an undertaking it would be to get the dress lined in the proper way. Without the lining, the dress was too sheer to wear, in my opinion, but when the I purchased it from the bridal boutique the store manager made it seem like it would be an easy enough alteration (I don’t think she knew any better unfortunately). When we brought the dress to Anila, she was very honest with us that she does not often see dresses sold in this condition and encouraged us to reach back out to the brand or the store we purchased it from to make sure this was how we were supposed to receive the dress. I really appreciated her candid nature and her willingness to help us figure out the situation. Because this truly was the dress I had tried on in the store, and we received it as the designer intended, we proceeded to work with Anila to put together a lining. Anila explained everything that she would have to do to add a lining to the dress along with the alterations and changing the buttons, as I had requested. Anila ended up giving us a quote that was outside my budget, but we had gone to her specifically because she had the best reviews in our area and we wanted to work with someone who was professional and who would do a good job. At the end of the day, it was well worth it, knowing that my dress was in good hands and turned out exactly as I had hoped. Anila had me come back for a few appointments to choose out the preferred fabric for the lining. She let me see it under the dress and try it on. She also helped me figure out if I wanted to add a lining to the front and back of the bustier or just the front. She helped me come to conclusions about all the tiny details of the dress that I hadn’t imagined, and reassured us that she was using the best fabrics and had gone out of her way to even go into New Jersey to buy a fabric for my dress. She took into account my slight weight fluctuations that happened due to wedding stressors, and helped iron out last-minute details I asked for on the dress. She also helped create a custom veil for me to go with my dress, which I loved and got so many compliments on. In the end, it was so beautiful, and I felt beautiful on my wedding day because of all the work she did. Thank you Anila! 💍💒”

I told her what I was interested in & she pulled some options along with a couple options that were a little different than what I originally thought I wanted. “This place provides excellent custom design work. They were able to create a solid 22k gold locket with incredible detail and craftsmanship.
They are very busy and can be a bit slow to respond to calls and emails, but overall I found them to be trustworthy and professional. I provided material for the project, and there were some questions regarding the final weight and fabrication losses. They took the time to discuss the process with me, provided additional information, returned some remaining gold value, and offered a discount on labor.
In the end, I was very happy with the finished piece. Their work is highly skilled, and I would not hesitate to recommend them for custom jewelry projects.”

“I reached out to Malgo to alter my wedding dress and heard back from her quickly- already off to a great start!! Initially, I just wanted to take the dress in, do some simple alterations and add a bustle which she was more than happy to do. After my first fitting, I decided I wanted to add a new feature to my neckline and reached out to Malgo to get her help getting it done. She worked closely with my mother to source additional fabric and finish my dream dress. She was so pleasant to work with and I always enjoyed our visits with her. Stella took the time to connect with me and my guests, learn about my fiancé and our story, and truly understand my style. She was mindful of my budget, transparent about pricing, and thoughtful in selecting dresses that aligned with both my vision and body type. I had been nervous about sample sizes, but she made the entire process feel comfortable and encouraging.
The very first dress she chose one I wouldn’t have picked myself changed everything. The moment I put it on, I felt beautiful, excited, and, for the first time, like a bride. I even started to tear up.
After trying a few more stunning options, I went back to that first dress. Stella carefully re-fitted it, then added a veil, handed me a bouquet, and gave me a quiet moment to take it all in. It was incredibly emotional in the best way. When she opened the curtain to my friends and family, everyone was beaming. There were happy tears all around (including Stella’s, which made the moment even more special). She captured beautiful photos that I’ll cherish forever.
One of the most meaningful parts came when Stella had me face the mirror and guided me through a series of reflective questions helping me focus on how I felt and what the dress truly meant. Answering them brought me fully into the moment, and for the first time, I genuinely felt beautiful.
