“This place straight up has the best matcha in the entire city, it may actually be the best I’ve ever had. I had the banana milk matcha, and Jesus Christ this thing is crazy good. House made banana milk, super flavorful and cold, outrageously good texture. The matcha itself is so vibrant and not bitter at all. I have paid way more for much worse matcha. You can find something close to this good but only through pop ups, not as consistent as Heat Check. I will now be a religious follower of their Instagram to see what other heavenly creations they concoct. Also got the jasmine passion fruit iced tea, just as good. If you’re looking for a good beverage, don’t even bother going anywhere else. If this was 30 minutes away instead of 7, I would still go out of my way to get drinks here. Everyone is super nice too, friendly and chill vibes. I hope everyone involved in curating the cafe menu is making a bajillion dollars.”
“I can’t resist a resale store so I stopped in on a whim and was thrilled to discover this shop. Small and very organized, there’s a good variety of styles and sizes. Found the perfect dress for an event I have coming up, NWT for an amazing price, plus the owner gave me a little discount! She was so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend stopping by. Cash or check only (there’s a bank with an ATM across the street.)”

Deducted 1 star because website said many things were out of stock that were not out of stock and they do not let customers use the restroom which is frustrating as this is in a stand alone. I would have stayed longer, and potentially spent more money, but I needed to use the restroom and had to drive somewhere else to do so.
I would like to see more products in 2xl sizes as well.”

“I’ll start this with the caveat that I lived near an Orvis outlet and two really good Orvis stores in eastern Pennsylvania. So, my standards are really high and I was definitely spoiled.
That said, I stopped in for a specific piece of luggage as I have other pieces from their collection.
I called ahead and checked if they had it, they did. I was really surprised that they had a hold on it for me the next day when I went into the store. Great customer service there!
Now, what really impressed me was their selection of women’s clothing — it far surpassed anything from the stores I had been accustomed to in eastern Pennsylvania. So I have to give a shout out to whoever is influencing that at the store level!
They had an impressive selection of men’s upland hunting clothing, however, I didn’t see any for women. I would recommend they stock more of that.
Finally, and this isn’t exclusive to the Pittsburgh store itself, but I am really pleased that Orvis is starting to utilize recycled polyester, and some of their products.”

“This Old Navy store sells a large selection of apparel for women, men, and children. When I shopped here, I thought that some of the regular prices were high and that the sale prices were low. I chose three tank tops, and they had a low price, a nice style, and good quality. I would recommend that the employees more frequently greet customers.”

It is well-kept; it has two levels of outdoor camping/hiking/ backpacking/fishing and other outdoor sports-recreational type clothing, shoes, & equipment for all temperatures and environments. The staff are all super friendly, knowledgeable, and well-versed w/their products. I highly recommend their products and this particular location.”

“Was visiting Carson Street with no real agenda other than to find a record store and stumbled upon this absolute gem of a store! I had to walk in and was transported to a different place and time. Amazing stickers and patches filled with nostalgia. An incredible line up of clothing and jewelry. The staff was very attentive and kind, spent a little time talking to the owner, great dude! After a purchase I just couldn’t walk out the front door without, he offered us free gifts on the way out on top of the root beer barrel candies! What an experience! I can’t wait to come back with more money and time!”

“I’m from out of town, and a big hobby of mine is collecting postcards. After walking around the city for hours, this was the first place I found that had any. We got there after 7, and I was unaware that they were closed. The cashier was so unbelievably nice and still let me purchase the cards. I would love to go there again (within business hours this time lol) and take my time shopping since they seem to have a lot of cool items!”

“I had bought work pants there in December. I wore them quite often and unfortunately they decided to blow out at the stitching a few days ago. I kept my receipt because of the No Bull guarantee. I was hesitant about driving the hour to attempt and exchange them but was pleasantly surprised at how Jenny the manager was and handled it. She exchanged my pants no problem at all no extra fees no hassle nothing negative to say. I decided to buy another pair as well and leave a good review because it was well deserved.”
