“Eat Your Vegetables is an amazing experience. Every dish was impressive - delicious, great presentation, and made with care. I loved the Farmer's Salad and the beet pierogies. The menu items rotate out, so you may not have the same options twice. You can tell how much Chef Mike loves what he does and loves sharing it with people. The drink menu was fun, with seasonal cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages available. Each menu item had a wine pairing. The service was excellent. Highly recommended. I can't wait to go back!”
“Easy parking lot, central to Oakland and Pitt's campus. Big banquet room inside (that was used for the cage scene in the movie Silence Of The Lambs). Nice, short walk-thru war memorial inside on the first floor. Garage and lawn fell pretty safe for a city setting.”
“One of my favorite things to do is go to the movie theater! At this one the seats are extremely comfortable and the cost is affordable. I'd go more often if they're were movies to my liking.”
“As a minister a few times a year I have the pleasure of presiding over weddings at the Edgewood country club.
The club itself is gorgeous, great accommodations, Great golf course and I can't say enough good things about the staff, especially the wedding coordinator Elizabeth. Becky is also on-site sometimes at weddings and she's wonderful as well.
The food can't be beat. Some of the best hors d'oeuvres I've ever had and the cuisine for dinner is impeccable.
Take it from Minister Ronald Cambest. The Edgewood country club is the place to be if you want to get married.”
“We celebrated our 50th Class Reunion at the Georgetown Event Center and we could not have hoped for a better experience!! The staff was attentive, the food was awesome and we were very happy with their pricing. I HIGHLY recommend you look into this venue if you are planning an event. I would absolutely use them again! Thank you for making our evening flawless!❤️”
“Outdoor space with a roof on top so if it rains, you'll be protected. Access to a swimming pool. Kitchen space. I've gone to about 5 different events here, over the years, and never had any issues. Plenty of parking as well.”

“My daughter started here in 2021 with camp. Then she moved to the team and started competing in competitions. She's gained strength and confident with this spot and with this coaching staff! They are wonderful ❤️”
“Justin Zell does a great job facilitating an improv workshop for Fred Rogers Productions' Writers' Neighborhood. It's a great way to kickoff the program and help the fellows to learn to collaborate, actively listen, and be adaptable, which are critical skill to implement into their careers as freelance writers.”
“We come for the Home and Garden show every year and always have a good time. The layout is simple and the concessions are decent. Parking for large events gets filled quickly but there are plenty of other lots nearby. Occasionally traffic gets congested underneath and can cause delays, but the street underneath is an easy drop off/pickup point”
“Beautiful venue with access to full kitchen. Very spacious and the staff was very helpful. Hosted a bridal shower shower for around 60 people, plenty of room for tables, drink stations and gift stations.”
“What an amazing experience we had at the Art Room for my daughter‘s wedding celebration!
Kirsten, Lydia, Claire, and Laura were all fabulous! From the minute we reached out to them and then met each one to the very last hug goodbye, everything was perfect! They are the kindest and most knowledgeable people and the hardest working group I’ve ever seen! Everything looked so beautiful because the venue is amazing! I would recommend it to anybody and if I ever need another place for a party, I will be going there!”

“One of the best experiences we've had at a hotel in so long! An incredible experience from check-in to check out. The daily complementary happy hour is so lovely and the staff goes above and beyond for anything you need. Rooms were nicely kept, great restaurant and bar inside. We won't stay anywhere else when we are in Pittsburgh.”
“My favorite rental place. I've been renting from a Party Place for almost a decade. Everytime we have a party, we pick up extra chairs and they are at such great prices! The staff is always friendly, respectful and helpful. Quick transactions and return process! Will continue to rent here for years to come.”
“Such a beautiful setting. I was invited as a participant of the Somma study. The place was set beautifully. Everyone was friendly, the food was good and plentiful. I want to thank everyone that made this event so wonderful.”
“Songbird Artistry creates gorgeous pieces! I love my new Taylor Swift earrings and magnets that I purchased at Pgh Pride. I will certainly buy from them in the future! ?”
“Solid customer service and a pretty nice concession setup. The lobby is done really well and the hallways are cool and easy to access. The auditorium was clean with unique luxury chairs. I tried the XD auditorium and it was nice but the audio was kinda quiet and not what I was expecting. Didn't really see anything unique about it other then the nice chairs and cool lighting. And it was pretty lame they only let you get a refill on your drink if it's the largest size cup. But overall a cool cinema and a decent experience.”
“I got my dad and myself a blacksmithing class for Christmas, so we went and made fire pokers and had a fantastic experience. It's a really cool venue for that kind of art! The instructors were great, and it was a nice bonding experience. Money well spent, and it was absolutely worth the price!”
“Absolutely gorgeous wedding venue with amazing staff! I had an art deco/gatsby themed wedding and this place was perfect! The space is a blank canvas for you to make your own! Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere unique with history to hold your event!”
“Despite the bright panels on the outside, Irma Freeman Center for the Imagination is in many ways a blink-and-you'll-miss-it kind of place. Even after having been past it on foot several times, I often had fairly little idea what it was. My first impression was that it might be a community center for disabled or destitute youths, and therefore somewhere that serves a valuable cultural function but in which I have no place. I was very incorrect in this assumption, as I found out later. One day, while the doors were open, I walked in. I was treated to a private, minimalistic indie gallery featuring work by local artists. At the time, the exhibit focused principally on abandoned sites in the Pittsburgh area, with photographs giving an eerie portrait of the region's history. It was as though the photographers were archaeologists documenting recent times that have fallen into obscurity and ruin. This is of course not the only exhibit: Irma Freeman's collections, ever changing, deal with a number of different artists and themes. Gift shop at the front door and opening night receptions every First Friday of the month. Strongly recommend!”
“We happened to be walking by around lunchtime and decided to try the fish fry. We both got fried shrimp dinners, with pierogies, coleslaw, and haluski. Everything was great and the folks there are very accommodating (since we'd never been there before and we're confused!). And they take credit cards. The fried fish sandwiches looked good too. And large. The social hall had a lot of tables set up to dine in and a bar to sit at as well.”

“Amazing ballet performances and also watched a form of jazz dance. The theater is not too big nor is it too small. The audience members primarily are family and friends which makes the night there that more special. Highly recommend visiting and supporting the performers.”
“Creative Reuse is my favorite place on Earth. It is SO easy to find tons of strange, interesting and rare items here that one otherwise wouldn't be able to find elsewhere! I go almost every month to stock up on random cassette tapes to see what's on them (some great indie music finds here if you dig around), newspaper clippings and as many vintage Pittsburgh magnets possible. If you like crafts and unconventional decorations, this place is definitely for you!
Also, everyone that works here is super nice and the prices are usually super reasonable. Every bad review saying otherwise has either never stepped foot in Creative Reuse or are people who don't believe retail employees deserve respect. This is a store that should never go away!”

Thank you to the staff for making our niece’s day so wonderful!!!”

“I was here for a wake, but it would be great for any event. Nice space, food was great amd staff was accommodating.Gave 4 stars because there is no changing table for little ones.”
“Nice venue. The chairs really suck they're just flimsy little chairs thrown very close together. If you want to sit up in the decent chairs it's a premium price in the balcony. Staff are great though and the shows are good just not that comfortable to sit.”
“Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, personable, and seemed genuinely happy to be doing what they're doing.Craftsmanship is on point; Sturdy and heavy duty. They make me want to paint so I can work with them more often.”
“Katie a bartender that left was Great. Kaitlyn was v helpful and caring too.. all nicely upgraded arcade and the lanes were clean. Friendly atmosphere... I just wish the pool table with multiple holes, that leans to one corner wasnt $10/ hour?!?! Insane.
And the poolsticks have no rounds on the tip
..so dont go to play pool, everything else was cool.”
“Very nicely appointed venue. Well laid out with a very cool and comfortable atmosphere. Lovely dining area and highly functional conference area if you are in need of a day long event venue. The “working” areas are a huge asset for professionals who need to plug in or a few minutes of privacy. But I loved the custom scent that they have piped in most of all. I need that at home!”
“Took my wife here on valentine's day. She absolutely loves the Pittsburgh. So I took her to see the stadium. And buy her some stuff at the pro shop. The guys were absolutely fantastic and very nice. My wife loved everything about Pittsburgh.”
