“Fantastic!! Today being tax day and one of the busiest post office days, the line was about to go out the door at this post office. When I entered, there was only one young woman behind the counter taking care of the entire line. She was ever so patient and polite and cheerful!!! About fifteen minutes later, another woman came and was able to clear some of the line by just stamping their envelopes with the date. “This is a very impressive post office. It is so impressive that even I would be inspired to sit on the steps and paint Scranton from this vantage point on a sketch pad with a pencil. But what do I know? I’m just Tiffany. I’ve only gone to the Louvre Museum in Paris, France multiple times (most recently with my fiancé) and seen art students and scholars all over the city being inspired and living their best lives.
Wait, was I supposed to write “charcoal” instead of pencil because everyone hates writing with the wooden sticks? Grow up.”
“For line haul, this is SCR. Go through the gate to the very back and spin around 180 degrees. Drop your tail and the jockey will tell you where to place your lead. The empties are on your left but be careful with your dolly since they are on a hill. Right before you exit the same gate, the office is on your left.”

“A playset we ordered was delayed, and we had to reschedule delivery for the following week. I called once I saw the shipment had made it to Scranton and spoke to literally the nicest rep ever. She got a hold of the manager who was able to get our order on the truck that morning and we had it in an hour! She made my son’s day! “I am a regular customer at the Dalton Post Office. I technically live in La Plume however La Plume does not have a scanner for eBay shipping, which is the only reason I visit any Post Office. The postal clerks in Dalton, Kaci and Brad as well as the Post Master are always friendly and helpful, regardless of how busy they are. I rarely wait even one minute for someone to come to the counter. The mail carriers do a great job of dealing with SO MANY packages. People who criticize them might want to try that job on for size. As a former AMAZON employee, I know of the challenges in the shipping world and it can be a BEAST. I often see these carriers out STILL delivering well into the night time hours which means that the clerk on duty is still working as well.”

“Went into Taylor post office with a package to be mailed to New Jersey . After the cashier measured the box the total to ship was over 45 dollars, he offered to cut down the box and re-tape which brought my total to about 13 dollars . The package was delivered on my nephews bday which was just a great coincidence. Thank you for taking the time to help keep my cost down. Now accurate delivery in our area is something else, ( they’re probably overworked and understaffed) but they need to take the time looking for accuracy and care on delivery . Otherwise, this was a positive experience and post. Thank you !”
