“I’ve been personally stopping there for lunch for 20 years whenever I’m in the area. I can remember stopping there as a child for lunch. We would always buy Italian subs. Today was no exception I had a delicious sub. I also bought a pack of licorice which was a nasty buy. The stuff was hard,dried up, discolored and bland tasting. It should have been discounted significantly or taken off the shelf months ago. Oh well one bad purchase in 30 years I guess isn’t to bad.”

“I love Ebenezers and have been a customer for at least five years. Never have I had a bad experience or a product issue until this week when I purchased a vitamin supplement on 10/23/23. It wasn’t until I got home (I live out of state) and went to open the cap when I noticed the bottle was already opened/unsealed and more than half of the supplement tablets were missing (100 tablet supplement only had about 20 tablets in it). I called to try to get a refund because I live out of state, but they said I would have to physically bring the item in for store credit. I would have no problem doing this if I was local to Ephrata. But I cannot simply bring the item in when living in another state. Like I said, I have never had a product issue in my years of shopping here so I did not think to check every product before leaving to see if each product is already unsealed and opened/used. But from now on it would be wise for customers to do so. It would also be wise for the staff to check products to see if they are already used or missing product. I am disappointed that a refund couldn’t be issued to my card over the phone with my receipt and transaction number and information.”

“This Render's location is one of the cleanest I've ever seen.The store is very well stocked. The produce all looks great. They have many sections for counter-setved items such as sushi, deli, meats, pre-made dishes, etc.The prices are slightly higher than other grocery stores but nothing that's overwhelmingly outrageous. Certain types of foods might cost more than other store while you might save a bit on others.They stock locally sourced foods and beverages too, which is nice.The parking lot is large, includes spots for online order pickup and handicap parking. The doors are automated for easy wheelchair entrance.”

“I don’t see a lot of Weis grocery stores where we live but it was a complete pleasure visiting this location. We were greeted and sent off with bright smiles and friendly demeanors. The store was clean, safe and well stocked. And dudeeeeee if you are from jersey ( the land o no plastic bags) this place has the beloved plastic bags of our youth. Also a fabulous selection of booze( which makes me wonder why is it only in Jersey that we can’t be trusted with alcohol in a grocery stores??- ) Anyways, it was a fast trip, I got the one thing I needed and one impulse buy item and we were on our way. A+++ from me!”

“You can find everything you need here. Prices are a little higher than Walmart, but the quality is worth it in my opinion. Their produce is really fresh and not on the verge of spoiling like some other markets in the area. They are one of the few places that still have a full meat and deli counter where you can get freshly sliced meats and cheeses.”

“I was really surprised at the I haven't shopped at redner's for 7 years I used to get my groceries ordered and delivered to my door from Walmart not no more the only time that I won't be going to redner's if I pass away I think that's the best store around and I was worried I thought my grocery bill was going to be over 200 cuz I had a shopping cart full of groceries and here it was only 179 dollars and 97 cent I was really shocked although Walmart is still the best and the cheapest because when I got home I looked at my receipt I was only $20 away from $200 stuff is so expensive and their fruits and vegetables nothing's in order but it's just like any other store everything's getting out of range.”

“Google maps has a limited number of tags when adding a place to Maps. This is a full-service bakery not a grocery store. Date of visit was Friday August 10, 2018. This is one of my favorite stops when I visit The Green Dragon. Their bake goods are reasonably priced and there is always a great selection. Today I bought a half a dozen of cookies. I had one when I got home and it was tasty and very soft. Muffins and sticky buns are also available. I'm almost glad I live thirty miles away because I'd be here every Friday and end up weighing four-hundred pounds! I don't have pictures to post of this fine establishment because I did not want to scare the girls behind the counter.. Highly recommended and worth seeking out in the vast Green Dragon grounds, Beiler's will sweeten your day.”

“This particular giant the one that is in Wyomissing near Austin's restaurant is open till 11:00 and actually has shelves with food on it. Unlike exeter's giant which is horrible, closes early and never has anything. I swear if you go there you're going there just for exercise to walk around. My only gripe with that store and other stores like it. Why wouldn't they have a set time? All stores open and close that are in a given area and then why can't the aisles be laid out as close to the same as possible depending on square footage but I bet they're pretty similar. Why does every store seem just have their own idea on where items should go and what aisles they should go in. They don't even put frozen food and milk in the same part of the store that's always moved around depending on what giant you are in. Absurd, it would only make sense to have stuff in the same spot as they are in every other store with that name. One ,shoppers that are going there to think that they're right by a giant, they're just going to run in quick and grab this one or two items that they need quickly on the way home. It's not their typical store but it's the closest one. No good luck with that.. What about workers that are filling in for whatever reason now they don't know where stuff is because it's not the same aisle. I don't know if the delivery people are the same people doing a set radius of stores but why not have that all as close to the same as possible to get them in and out. Or a blind person? They better hope that seeing eye dog is able to recognize particular items.”

“Came here just now with my 7 year old. The lady in the bakery was selling fresh pretzels but cash only. I only had my card but she gave him one for free, said they had some nice tips in the jar. Went to check out and the cashier (Don I believe) played a game with my guy where he put all the items on the belt and all the bags in the cart. At the end he let him pick any candy he wanted but said he couldn’t have them until he unloaded the car at home. Anyone with kids knows how painful taking them to the grocery store can be at times. Thanks to this crew today for being so thoughtful!”

“I transferred pharmacies and was immediately more than glad that I did. I spoke with the young man in the pharmacy and he was absolutely out of this world polite and legit went the extra mile to help me in every way possible. I can’t recall being treated so well anywhere or in any capacity. He was phenomenal and the reason I transferred to Weis. Started with a phone call to see if they kept stock of my medication and he is the reason I am a member to this day. Absolutely just impressed because Weis must have some training that only keeps the polite and positively energetic people.”
