“Just had one of the best experiences we have ever had while getting a new phone. Steve stayed past work hours to help assist with the transfer to the new phone and made the whole process seem so much easier than what it really is. We were so grateful that we brought them some tacos from Condado. Thank you Steve!”

“Every time I go into Hollowood, I’m always impressed. The best selection of guitars and audio equipment in the Pittsburgh area, great prices, and the greatest owners and management. I just completed a trade for a bass cabinet and the entire process could not have gone more smoothly. Don, the owner, put out a number of items for me to test and get to know before we closed a deal.”

“Excellent service today by Verizon! These representatives have to pass on so much information that it is easy to overlook details. As a customer, I suppose I should have lined up a whole bunch of questions to make sure everything was correct. As a company, Verizon responded by correcting the issues I had. Great work! Thank you!”

“Friendly and knowledgeable employees helped me find exactly what I needed really quickly. It was something I had to have that day, so I figured I’d be paying a premium to get it at a physical store instead of online, but the price was actually lower than Amazon’s! I didn’t have time to browse, but looked like they had a lot of really interesting things. Great little store.”

“I am so happy to have found this company.I'd had a horrendous experience with a large retailer. Then spent far too many hours searching websites, claiming my item was in stock... only to get the computerized "Bait-n-Switch".When I finally came across Northern Sound & Light during my last ditch effort with google search. While calling to verify information, I was amazed that a real person answered their phone!Kuddos to Eric, he was a hero today!Thank you for exhibiting True Customer Service. It's such a rare commodity these days, yet still very appreciated.Today it's earned you a new customer from 1500 miles away, one with many friends in the music industry and who will be referring them all to Northern Sound & Light.Sincerely,Thank You So Very Much”

“This has become my go-to record store in the Pittsburgh area. The staff is incredibly helpful in fielding all questions. They are very informative, and will not make you feel stupid for asking for help. The selection is great, and the prices are incredibly low compared to other establishments in the area. That also includes online retailers like Amazon. I highly recommend taking the time to visit this place if you are looking for vinyl or other similar products.”
