“Rich and Sue are absolutely the best . They stay on top of all my meds and check on me when I am in the hospital or my nursing rehab. They are without a doubt the best. If they ever get moved, I can guarantee that all the patients that I sent to them for caring people would be leaving. Likewise myself Never let them go. They're an asset to you company. “This is an interesting little farm market but what really stands out for me is the selection of seed garlic every fall. I have been to a major garlic festival in New York that draws 20,000 visitors annually but have seen a greater variety of garlic right here in my own backyard.”

“I had the best experience here. Everyone is pleasant and accommodating.
I brought a ton of beef ribs for a cookout. The meat was fresh and they seasoned them for me at no extra cost.
Suffice it to say they turned out wonderful and were delicious he “talk” of the cookout!”
“It's honestly an amazing hole in the wall specialty grocery and convenience store.
Loads of local homemade goods and even rare imported foods and other goods.
This is also a great place to find Japanese sweet potatoes. Which is ultimately what drew me. Especially with its proximity to my typical shopping route.
Prices are respectable and fair considering the goods.
However I must warn, If you have issues with strong scents or especially aromatic odors. The candle section in the middle of the store close by the registers is particularly difficult.
They don't smell bad at all; truly, just quite strong. For someone like myself with breathing issues it was rather tough. So be prepared.
Past that 4/5 will definitely shop again.”
“I regularly stop here for meat. The cuts are really nice and fairly priced. Their deli staff is really nice too. I swear this is the only place in the area that has some Italian cuts like pancetta that you'd need for some dishes. Their deli is just so much better than going to a regular grocery store. Their desserts and premade food are always solid picks too. My favorite is their Creme Brulee Cheesecake or the Carrot Rolls they have sometimes. Sometimes they have really good red tag deals, and it's also like the only retailer around here that sells Hershey ice cream.”
“Hot sausage sandwich or an Italian, seriously you can't go wrong! I'm all about supporting a local infamous Grocery store. It's definitely one of a kind. Also if your taller than 6ft it's gonna be a bit uncomfortable.”

I’ve edited my review to add a few thoughts.
First, KWF does not make all of their soups anymore. I think they now only make 4 - turkey chili, maybe lentil, chicken rice, and the fourth one is slipping my mind.
They buy heat and serve soups. The soups are good but they are not gluten free so there’s fewer choices. I often stopped at the store on my way home for a cup of soup. I don’t do that anymore.
Another reason I use to stop on the way home was for the KWF baked goods. I loved that they offered gluten free items made with real butter and eggs. That’s hard to find.
I also miss the wonderful selection of bulk herbs and spices they once had. I could refill almost every jar in my spice rack from buying bulk at the store. They replaced the space the herbs were in with assorted loose teas.
Lastly I miss the cafe having seating and food you could get made to order. I miss meeting old friends there by accident.
I know that stores figure out what items yield the most money on the shelf, but, looking at how much $$ an item on a shelf yields does not give the whole story.
An item may have brought people like me in for soup, a scone, or to fill their spice jars and then once they’re there they picked up other things.
The cafe brought friends in to meet before or after they shopped. It was a lovely place to meet. It gave the store a whole different vibe. I guess I’m feeling nostalgic today.
I love this store and always will, and, for the most part most of the change I’ve seen over the years has been positive, but, the things I mentioned above were what brought me in regularly and were what made me drive out of my way to stop on the way home.
I can now get almost everything else I use from local stores but NOT the fantastic soups, baked goods, cafe offerings, and the bulk herbs and spices. Those things are what gave me a reason to stop.”
“We try to support local small businesses as much as possible over the big chain stores because the little guys are who built this country. This is little hidden gem is a great little Mom & Pop grocery store that's been here for a long time. They do their own butchering onsite and stock some of the name brands as well. My Grandfather butchered for them back in the 50s and maybe the 60s. The meat selection here is good and they're not gouging folks like the big chain stores. Check out the deli case too as they have some nice selections and the folks behind the counter always greet you with a smile. We'll come to Freed's as long as they're open.”
“On whim the other day, my dad and I picked up three cheeses from the farm stand to serve at our holiday meal today. Oh, my goodness, how delightful a decision that was! The Thistle, a brie-style, was very delicious, either on it's own, or with a touch of honey. I'm excited to get this again, and see how it changes season to season. The ash-rind Witchgrass was a beautiful surprise! Rich, but bright and tart, it held up to strong flavors, like my homemade onion jam with citrus and peppercorns, perfectly. I can see an infinite number of serving possibilities for this one. The alpine tomme style Marigold went beautifully with dried fruit and toasted almonds, but I'm really looking forward to popping it under the broiler on toast tomorrow! I'm so very thrilled to have such skilled cheesemakers so close!”

“Always one of my favorite places to shop whether via insta cart or in person. Aldis always seems to have great deals and definitely seems cheaper than most other places like Walmart. The staff at every aldis ive been to have always been friendly and helpful.”
“Even the self checkouts don't work. Way understaffed with cashiers. The employees are terrific, but don't waste your time with the store manager. It's "not his fault" . He's "only been here 3 weeks" and customers are the problem. Save yourself a headache, drive to Reading.”
“Damien extremely patient with me and my stepdaughter. He explained things properly and took the time to help us. He did not make us feel rushed. He did not talk to me like I was an idiot. “Outstanding work ethic here. I have been able to get the things I need many times at this location.. It is two miles from me and every person I have ever seen since this has opened has been helpful and hard- working. Since I often don't have the energy to do large store shopping this dollar general in Boyertown has been a lifesaver many times for me. A big thank you to you all for doing a great job to be helpful to all of us who rely on this store often. You always speak to anyone who comes in. “Redner's has the absolute nicest employees, and I love that they're a local employee-owned chain. Locally sourced products are sold at a good price and are very fresh. I'm a big fan of Clover Farms dairy products and the chicken leg quarters sold here.
This isn't the place to get everything. They only carry certain cuts of meat, imported fruit is expensive and spoiling, and most items in the aisles are priced high (though sometimes they run great sales). This is where you go to get local food you need on a daily basis, at good quality and prices.”

“I like shopping at Landis Supermarket. Their fresh donuts are wonderful and have purchased birthday cakes that were nicely decorated and moist. The meat is always fresh and you can find great weekly deals. Never crowded and items are easy to locate.”
