“This shop replaced our old State Store and is 100 times better and much larger. They have free tasting and learning sessions in the back of the store you have to sign up for. Went to one for wine and cheese and it was amazing! Hope they keep up the good work!”

“Good food and good selection, this is a generally reliable stop when we need groceries. The produce can get a bit sparse sometimes.

The beer selection is small but genuinely good. Whoever picks what goes in there knows what they're doing, and I've walked out with things I wasn't expecting to find at a grocery store.

Parking can be a pain at the wrong hour, although that's pretty rare.

The prepared foods are hit-or-miss.”

“Devon Acme is a nice location with a decent selection of products, and most of the employees are friendly and helpful. The cart attendants especially deserve recognition they’re always genuine, hardworking, and pleasant to interact with.

The store itself has improved, and the new management team seems to be doing a solid job overall. The store is cleaner and more organized than before, which I appreciate. The one store manager I see, just walks around and never doing anything. Always holding his stomach like he’s in pain.

That said, there are a few things that could be improved. I’ve noticed some employees wearing pajama pants, hoodies, and earbuds while working. The earbuds don’t really bother me since the store music can probably get repetitive, but the pajama pants and overall dress code come across as unprofessional.

One thing that stood out to me was repeatedly seeing an employee in pajama pants gambling on the machine while on the clock. That’s not a good look for the store and seems very unprofessional. I’m just trying to buy my kids some pokemon.

Despite a couple of employees with poor attitudes, most of the staff are kind and helpful. Overall, it’s still a wonderful store with great people, and with a little more attention to professionalism and enforcing work attire standards, it could be even better.”
